Travel playpen is durable, and is great for kittens.
I love this. I ordered the Portable Travel Playpen by AmazonBasics for multiple litters of kittens, that my girls had, last year. The primary litter was approaching one month old, and the secondary litter was about a week old.Kittens don’t do much within the first month after birth. Their eyes open in 7-10 days after birth. They crawl on their bellies for about the first two to two and a half weeks. From three to four weeks of age, their mobility improves but generally they have basic and limited motor skills. It is in the second month of age that they become more agile, and can run, jump, climb, and pounce. (Although if there are older cats in the house, the litter can be more developmentally advanced. I had one litter of kittens that were jumping, climbing, running, and pouncing, at one month of age.) The kittens in the primary litter were fast-approaching that rambunctious stage that cute baby cats are famous for.My cats are indoor-outdoor, and they love being outside. I believe in letting cats explore and enjoy nature, since it is instinct for them to want to be outdoors. I wanted my girls, and their litters, to be able to enjoy the warm weather, and sounds of the season, but I also didn’t want to expose them to any danger. Even though the yard is fenced in, kittens can still get very hurt, because they tend to wander. Much like human babies, they want to taste everything, even if it is potentially poisonous. I wanted for the kittens to be able to explore safely, under supervision of course, and not worry about them falling down a drain, or eating out of garbage cans, or crawling under a fence, never to be seen again. A travel playpen is the perfect solution.The AmazonBasics portable playpen is great. Although it is made for small dogs, it works great for kittens.It opens (and closes) very easily. It comes with a nice travel bag. It is very easy to clean. Just wipe with a damp rag, or hose off and let dry. Both the bottom and top flaps unzip. It is made of quality material and isn’t flimsy.It is a very good size; and, is a great size for kittens, and small cats. I had as many as nine kittens (between one and two months of age) in the playpen at once. I even let mama cat stay with her litter to nurse periodically. Both of my girls are petite, and at that time weighing about five to six pounds. So, one six pound cat and four or five babies, can fit into it comfortably. The older, much bigger boys, even liked it. I had a kitten sized litter box (XS) in it at times because the kittens were learning to use it. I also had a few toys in it for them. So as not to make it crowded, I would rotate the litters of kittens inside of the playpen. I would put them all in it, and then take one or a few out at a time, and let them explore, while the others stayed inside of the playpen.I covered the bottom with an old towel, but as mentioned, it wipes clean very easily.It is very durable. It is very sturdy. It was able to support the weight of kittens climbing, and jumping, on top of it (see photos) while the others were inside playing. It held up well against kittens biting, scratching, climbing, pouncing, and jumping on it.I have added in a few photos of it in which the older cats are close-by, to provide a better visual of the playpen’s overall size.This is an awesome playpen, and I highly recommend it. I am very happy with my purchase, and I would definitely purchase this again.

Almost Perfect
This was the second enclosed fabric pen I bought for my puppy. I knew it might not last forever, but I liked something that wouldn’t scratch my floors and gave the puppy more room than a traditional crate.My puppy developed a habit of turning his pen on its side and then rolling it around the house. With the last pen I weighted it down and that caused seams to rip which destroyed the pen. I was afraid that this pen would have the same problem, but when I opened it up, I was delighted to discover that the fabric seemed much thicker and sturdier. Unfortunately, the zipper had a habit of sticking which worried me, but it worked great.My first pen (a different brand) had lasted 10 days; this one would have lasted a good bit longer–maybe a month or maybe even until the puppy no longer needed a pen. Unfortunately, the zipper which had been troublesome from the beginning, despite being strong metal, had some teeth fall out. Once that happened, i couldn’t close the top of the pen and that meant that my puppy could get out whenever he liked.I’m not sure whether the zipper on this pen was an aberration–I wouldn’t be surprised since the rest of the pen was such high quality. Despite my puppy turning the pen on its side and rolling it around the house, it never lost the shape it should have when put back in place. It seemed like a perfect pen.I gave the pen 4 stars rather than 5 because of the zipper, but I would re-order this again if I could be sure that the zipper wouldn’t be faulty.

Best puppy play pen
It’s wonderful for protecting my floors from accidents and spills! Keeps puppy out of trouble in a safe environment and protects them from other pets and predators. Folds up awesome so it’s easy to take along where ever we go!!

Me gustó mucho, pero la opinión de mi peluda Michi es más importante, se sintió muy cómoda, no extrañó el exterior en la hora que estuvo dentro, cabe todo perfecto, comedero, bebedero, arenero y su cama de descanso, hasta sus pequeños juguetes, no hubo derrames de nada, estoy y estamos encantados con el producto.Lo único malo o inconveniente es que no traía las varillas para el anclaje entonces si pudiera suceder un incidente si la mascota llegará a desesperarse o intentar salir al sentirse en cautiverio, además en las características no mencionan que pueden venir o no venir ese es el único punto en contra que le doy, todo es perfecto calidad, material, manufactura, resistencia muy bien.

ℹ️Besoin initial : acheté pour l’accueil d’un chaton, je souhaitais qu’il puisse être isolé mais aussi que le parc soit suffisamment grand pour qu’il puisse se sentir à l’aise, jouer et manger.✅️Description: le parc est assez grand, après quelques pliages celui se plie très facilement. ✔️La qualité des matériaux est bonne et ceux-ci résistent bien aux griffures et morsures. ✔️Une ouverture sur le dessus et deux ouvertures sur les côtés qui sont réglables. ✔️Très facile à transporter avec le sac, il reste de la place pour ranger quelques petites choses🧽Nettoyage : très simple et rapide à nettoyer, pas besoin d’utiliser beaucoup de produit nettoyant, sèche vite car produit partiellement déperlant💰Rapport qualité prix : Bon, produit qui durera dans le temps, même si mon chat a grandi il continue de jouer avec en montant dessus😻👍Commentaire final : je recommande absolument ce produit, qui a été parfaitement adapté au besoin initial, mon chat l’apprécie toujours.
