Best cat carrier!
OMG, this is such a fantastic pet carrier. I have 2 cats. One cat (the fluffy one) goes hiking with me. By that, I mean, she watches outside while I carry her and 10 minutes later, she’s sound asleep until about 10 minutes before we get back to the car.My other cat (short hair) has horrible allergies including to human dander (yes, I have the cat that is legitimately allergic to humans) and has to get allergy injections once a month. She is not a fan and getting her in a carrier is a hassle.I have a pet backpack but this one is far, far superior. The cushioned padding is firm without sacrificing comfort. The straps keep the pack in place, so no jostling of furry pal inside. THE STRUCTURE. Whomever designed this bag, thank you and kudos to you. The reinforced structuring along the edges is so much stronger than my other pack and will hold its shape. There’s a padded flat support panel that is also incredibly firm and I won’t worry about the pack losing shape or my cats being uncomfortable. There are loops to attach flashlight or keys on a carabiner and a couple pockets for treats, wallet, first aid items, etc. It even fully collapses for easy storage and there are several zippers to allow me access to my cat (I like to be able to pet my short hair cat to console her while waiting at the vet’s office for her shot). The biggest test- cats’ approval. Once I set this pack up, both of my cats fought to get into it. They absolutely love it! I actually had to put the bag away as they started swatting at eachother, each wanting the pack for themselves. I’m going to get a second pack and use them as their carriers from now on. This pack is amazing and so excited my girls love it. This is by far the best cat carrier I have had.

High quality with great support.
This is by far one of the highest quality, nicely designed, easy to use and store cat carriers I’ve ever used. It’s the perfect size for my small cat but I’d imagine it’s perfect for a small dog or large cat as well. It sure seems like it could handle an overweight pug with ease. There’s plenty of ventilation with there being mesh on both sides, the front and the top. The two mesh windows on the front and top have a zipper so you can open just the windows. Both of the sides, the entire side unzip and you’re able to put a larger pet in through the “doors” so to say. There’s multiple zipper pockets so that you can store various needs for either yourself or your pet. There’s a cross strap that goes between the 2 shoulder straps so that there’s plenty of support for long treks. It makes taking my cat to the vet a breeze. I keep both my hands free so I’m able to get out the door and to the car without having to fumble with the carrier and/or put my cat down while I’m locking the door. 5 stars based on the thickness of the material, quality of the material, ease of storing and great value overall for the price. When you’re not using it you can fold it flat for optimal storage. I recommend for any cat or small pet owner.

Pretty Good
The material and look feels high quality and the zippers seem fine so far. I like how all the windows open and close with a zipper too. I didn’t get to fully test it out though with my cat as it doesn’t come with a cushion or mat for the inside of it. I see Velcro where one should attach, however it looks like they sell accessories for the backpacks so I’m not sure if it’s missing or supposed to be an upsale to buy for it. Either way, whether it’s quality control or upsaling, for the price, shouldn’t be an issue. For that, it makes it just okay as the mat helps keep it formed when open and provides support for your cat.

helpful for hiking with senior or less-active chihuahuas
We love our two chihuahuas (14 and blind, and 7 with bad knees) but we also love camping road trips and long hikes. The little ones love to hike, but only for a short distance–then, they must be carried. I’ve tried several carriers with limited success. This carrier with extra support came just in time for our latest outing. The bottom is supported with a removable stiff square covered in a soft fabric; the zippers on the sides are surrounded by a rigid but still flexible frame. There are two straps (chest and waist) for extra support, just like on a long-haul backpacking backpack. With a little coaxing with a treat, both dogs went in just fine. Since my younger girl with bad knees is larger, this functioned as her carrier for the trip (my little guy does just fine in a front-carry sling). This carrier made a world of difference in terms of not feeling like her weight was hanging all the way down my back, weighing on my shoulders (she is small, only 9 pounds, but I’m a 100 pound human and her fidgety weight can get to be a lot trying to hike up elevation, trust me). She settled comfortably and watched the scenery go by without overworking her knees.Take your pets with you on your adventures! This carrier will make it that much easier.

Nice quality, a little small for me.
I like the design and materials of this carrier. The extra padding is a nice addition for longer excursions and the size was good for my relatively small cat. I took one star because the chest and belly straps are a little small for me and may not be useful in some instances. Otherwise I do like the quality for the price and I found it easy to zip into shape. I think it’s a good option if smaller straps work well for you.

This thing is awesome!!!
My dog always wants to come with me, but she HAAAATES walking. This thing is awesome! I can stuff her in there, she gets to see out the back and be right with me the whole time. It feels really durable and lovely, the zippers are heavy duty and solid. Assembly is just 3 zippers and its ready to roll! Nice cushioned padding on the back of the bag so its not folding against you as well. Really love it! (my dog is 9.5lbs for reference)

I am an experienced adventure cat owner. This backpack has quite a mix of good things and bad things so it’s not a straightforward review. I really like the fabric they used on the bag as it doesn’t cling to pet hair and is easy to wipe off. I really don’t like the dark colour however as it attracts UV and overheats in the sun. And because there is mesh on the top and 3 sides there is no way for my cat to be shaded from the sun using this bag. Ideally there would actually be a breathable cotton suncover that comes with bags like this. It would be useful as a suncover and also as a privacy cover for discreet situations or a stressed/shy pet. The insert that goes into the bottom is plastic with two pieces of thin plastic packaging foam on each side. So while the hard solid bottom is appreciated, there really isn’t much cushioning. The zip entry on the left side is too short for the average cat or dog to get into comfortably so it’s entirely wasted space in my opinion. It would have been much preferable to use that side of the bag for an elasticized water bottle pocket or two. The pocket on the left is ok but doesn’t have elastic at the top or a zipper so anything you put in there can fall out which isn’t ideal. The zip pocket on the front is nice. The front has two zip entries one in the front and one on the top. Both of these entries are too small for my 10.5 lb long-haired cat. He does fit but it’s squishy and uncomfortable to get him in and out and I would have preferred one larger zip rather than the two smaller ones. The bottom window has a double zipper which I appreciate and the top opening has a single zipper which I don’t appreciate. Neither window has any way to roll them and clip them back to keep them out of your way if you want to leave them open while your cat is riding in the bag. They simply flap all the way down or all the way up and block each other if you’re using both of them. I’ve never seen a bag that doesn’t have rollable windows before so this was definitely an oversight. I like that there’s a back carry handle with a rubberized grip but it’s far too thin when a pet is inside and should be three times thicker for better grip and support. The padding on the back and the shoulder straps is very nice. I am 5 ft 10 and would say this bag is ideally suited for somebody 5’5 or shorter. You have to cinch the shoulder straps close to your body in order for the bag not to gape. But if you do that the hip straps ride all the way up under the bust at an extremely bizarre and unhelpful level. If you’re carrying your pet around for a long distance you want the hip support to be on your hips. Again, this will only work for a shorter person; for a tall person it’s more like an under-bust strap (or if you push it down closer to your hips like I did in one of the photos, it gapes open and hurts your back). Speaking of this strap, both of the buckles, right and left, are upside down. So when you clip it around your “waist” the cinch straps are on the inside and the buckles themselves are both facing inwards. Which means you can’t pull them tight or loosen them while you’re wearing it and there’s pressure points. Thankfully you can remove both of them, flip them around, and rethread them properly. The bag does not collapse in on itself which is great. Air flow is great. The size is pretty good for a 10.5 lb cat sitting upright. My cat prefers to lay down and when he does that in this bag he can’t really see anything as the mesh windows are all on the top half of the bag. There are no feet on the bottom of this bag or rubberized grips to keep it up off the wet dirty ground, which is disappointing. With some changes this bag has a lot of potential. But in its current state I wouldn’t recommend it for frequent avid adventure cat owners. If you’re just using it on occasion to bring your cat to the vet or something simple like that, this would be a great option.
