My cats love chasing the red dot all over. If they could get to the ceiling they would! The 4 of them run over top of each other to get to it.I use the light on it often. It’s actually very bright.I would highly recommend this!

Really just wanted the red laser dot; hard to figure out
This has lots of options, such as a red mouse, star, butterfly, happy face, and dot, but i just wanted the dot for the cat I occasionally catsit. I bought it because it comes with two devices and was a good price for two. It’s hard to figure out how to get to the red laser light, and I finally figured out there are three clicks on the on/off switch: the first is for the red, the second is a blue circle (not sure what that’s for), and the third is a white circle (flashlight). When you’re on the first click (red), you move your thumb to a black switch and roll it to rotate through the different shapes. I’m just getting around to writing this review after about a month, but I don’t think the package came with instructions. Those would have been very helpful. The cat likes it after I remember how to use it (the device is not intuitive to use), so I’ll give it four stars.

Buy this instead of the cheap garbage
Because the cheap garbage will just end up costing more in the long run. We’ve had these for quite a few months now and we have yet to even charge them. At this point we would have gone through like 6 of those cheap ones you get at Walmart or where ever. You know the ones I’m talking about.

Charge lasts a long time
These arrived already charged and although I’ve had them for weeks and used them a number of times, I haven’t needed to charge them yet. One cat is afraid of the red laser pointer, the other loves chasing it… But the UV light and the penlight flashlight work great too.
