Folds up small, easy to take along
I love how small this folds up. It even has a little cinch to keep it closed. While it seems to open easily, it does need a nudge to latched properly. It was easy to attach the top (two simple snaps).The mesh is easy to see through and the shaded part is a beautiful blue. There is a small amount of padding on the bottom. If you plan to use this to co-sleep, know that it is pretty large – so you’ll want a king sized bed.This is perfect for travel, or a quick nap when visiting, or to leave at Grandma’s. It would be a great gift.

This portable travel bassinet has a simple design. It comes folded in half but with hinges, so to open I simply had to push down on both ends. HOWEVER (my first nit), I had to push down so hard to make sure it was in the locked open position that I was concerned I might cause it damage. The good news is that apparently the difficulty went away on subsequent attempts.The canopy snaps on (2 metal attachments; one on each side of the bassinet), and both ends of the canopy have elastic to attach it fully to the bassinet. About half of the canopy is mesh (about the grid size of window screens) to help keeps bugs away, and the other half is an opaque navy material that the listing states protects baby from sunburn. This is my second nit as there is no mention of the UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) rating of the material.Finally, there is no way to carry the bassinet with the baby in it in a manner that is not awkward. In fairness, the listing does not indicate this is a feature so I canât really consider that a negativeâ¦but it would be nice.Overall, despite what may seem to be the contrary on what I have written above, this is a lightweight baby bassinette that folds nicely for travel and storage and has a handle for carrying (when closed). The canopy is nice but I would not rely on it to block UV rays from the sun. It opens and closes very easily in seconds. I personally would not put a baby that is older than the 0 to 5 months baby rating from the listing. Hopefully the hinges and locking mechanism will hold up over time. [3.5+ stars rounded to 4 stars]

FSATBTNE Bassinet: Have Bassinet, Will Travel
I am pleased that the FSATBTNE folks designed this bassinet for travel â it is very convenient. Most folks carry a variety of items for their baby whenever they leave the house and will appreciate the light weight, the carrying handle, and the sturdy construction of the FSATBTNE bassinet. The basinet is equally great for stationery use inside the home. The netting and the hood are easy to set up and operate. This is a great gift for those parents who you befriended in birth classes.

FSATBTNE Portable Travel Bassinet for 0-5M Baby is a very nice quality travel bassinet. The bassinet folds out easily and snaps in place. The padding in the bassinet is pretty thick so it is not like you are lying your baby on the floor. The netting and shady canopy covers the bassinet well if you are using this outside. i think you could use this for travel or for sleeping the baby on your bed. It could also be used as a bassinet at home not just for travel. Especially if you live in a small apartment or home. If you are in the market for a small folding bassinet, this one is nice.

this travel bassinet is a total game changer for taking care of my lil one on the go. itâs really light and folds up easy, so i can take it anywhere without stress. i like that it comes with a mosquito net and sunshade canopy cuz it keeps my baby comfy and protected outside. the mattress is soft enough for naps but firm enough to feel safe. cleaning it is no big deal either since itâs washable. my favorite part is how cozy and snug it feels for my baby, like a lil pod. iâve used it at the park, a friendâs house, and even at the beach.

Convenient
This is great for when we go to our cabin. We were bringing a pack n play but it’s so big and it’s only for nap times and this is so small for travel and perfectly adequate for an infant to sleep in. Can also use it outside and because of the netting bugs won’t bother baby. Also provides some sun protection as it does have a sun shade. Very handy to have when traveling.
