Perfect Escape Proof Harness!
I ordered this little harness for my cat and I am so pleased! My cat does not like to wear anything, and she will fight to get out of what ever I put on her. I was hoping the harness was soft and comfortable enough for her to keep it on because she needs to wear it for travel. To my delight she does not mind wearing it, and she has allowed me to put it on her several times now. For reference, my cat weights a little over 6 pounds and I ordered the medium size, which fits her well because of the adjustable velcro. The harness is very well made from a soft knit fabric that is slightly padded. I trimmed and rounded the corners of the velcro strips a little bit, to make sure they did not stick out and rubbed my cat. It’s perfect!

Great Harness for Kitty
So in this review I will tell you why I chose this product to buy after much research and deliberation, what I like about it, and what I’d change (not much).My cat Simon is 16.5 lbs of muscle. People see him in person and are usually a bit taken aback by his size. I’ve tried other harnesses but struggled to find ones that were big enough, stay on, AND are comfortable for him. He measures 17.5″ inches around his chest behind his legs.This harness had a large size range and had an easy step in design. I liked that it had easy adjustable velcro closure reinforced by a buckle. I was worried about it staying closed but it has a large amount of very strong velcro. Not only that but there is still a good amount of room left to where, if he was bigger, it would still work for him.I like that this style harness does not put pressure on his neck and fully supports his chest. It does not move or shift even if he tugs against the leash. He seems to find it very comfortable. Unlike other harnesses it only took two times of him wearing it to fully walk unbothered. I made putting it on a positive experience with treats and starting out with only a few minutes of wearing it, increasing each time. Worked like a charm.The harness is great quality. Good stitching and seems like it will last. I love the bright colors and went with “Fruit Green” aka highlighter yellow/green. I chose this so if I for some reason lost hold of the leash, he could be easily spotted, even if we were in the woods. It really is breathable too. I can see his dark fur through the mesh and when I hold it up to a vent the air flows through easy.I do wish the fixed buckle lock could be tightened once the velcro was fastened. It would be that extra added measure to ensure it stays in place. He has never gotten out of it though. As stated above, the velcro is strong. I also make sure to stay behind him so he doesn’t have the opportunity to pull out. Though, I doubt he would accomplish this easily. I also wish the leash included was a bit longer. I can always buy a new one though so no biggie.Overall, I love this product. My cat Simon does too, as now he gets to go on daily walks. The quality and functionality is all there. I will be buying another one for my other cat as well.

Hard to please cat.
The harness and leash I ordered for my cat worked out better than I had hope for. He’s still getting used to it but we already gone out for his walk. I loved that the harness was ventilated to keep him cool. Since he’s a boy the beautiful blue color makes him look so manly.ð¸

Ours was too big for our cat, although I measured her. The Velcro patch is small so you canât adjust it much. It looks nice though, and the material was ok.

Not escape proof! Weâre both traumatizedâ¦
Picture it. Fall 2021. I get home from my job as a preschool teacher exhausted and stressed. I foolishly believe that trying out the new harness I acquired for my precious little pussycat will be a good way to decompress after work. I was so so wrong⦠with a heart full of hope and a smile on my face we set out. Jinx in her cute new harness and me in my mid length dress, tights, and heeled boots. For the first 2 minutes it was kitty walking bliss, but then, IT happens. We were walking along the edge of the parking lot outside our apartment when she got entangled in the branches of a small dead tree. She began to panic, and before I could grab her she slipped out of the âESCAPE PROOFâ harness and began to slide down the rocky gorge (which was just beyond the parking lot).Jinx found her footing and began to make her way to a less steep part where she could begin her ascent. I called for her and she let out a terrified yowl. I began to follow her along the top as she headed to the wooded area that was easier to navigate. Jinx is an exclusively indoor cat, and although she has claws, she had no idea where to go in her new surroundings. I desperately dove into the brush, briars clawing at me like Snow White in the dark forest. When she was nowhere in sight, we began to depend solely upon following the sound of each otherâs desperate cries! Around the time she stopped answering me I came to the edge of a deep, rocky ditch. There was no way around it. Only across⦠Determined not to give up on my fur baby I decided to try and jump it. âI can make itâ, I thought to myself. Big mistake. I took a deep breath and jumped! However, the leap I leapt fell horribly short and I landed on my stomach on the opposite side riddled with briars and sharp rocks. Meanwhile Jinx had followed my voice and was only a few feet away in the thick brush when I made my daring jump! The sound my body made as it crashed into the brush scared one of her nine lives right out of her and she ran panicking all the way back to our apartment door. As I stumbled out of the sea of brambles I saw her under one of the parked cars and was finally able to coax her back inside. I spent the next 30 minutes picking thorns out of my bleeding hands. Then we sat in the floor holding each other while I cried. When my husband got home he comforted us both and I NEVER took her on another walk like that again! Surprisingly though, my tights werenât even so much as snagged! I would wright them a glowing review, but alas I donât know where they came from because I stole them from my sister. The End.

Kept Getting Out
I got the small for a large kitten to learn to use a harness. One deathroll and he was out of it. We adjusted and tried again and he was able to pull his front legs back and out and then slither out of the rest of it. I liked the color and feel but has safety design flaws. Returned.

My current rescue cat is a fan of NO harness, but with treats and patience xOneMillion I did get this on her – once. She wont be picked up or held so she’s not the usual housecat. Once on, she promptly hated like most cats would but quickly seemed to get used to it. It is so comfortable and light its really a fab harness. She is a tiny cat, full grown but only about half the size of a regular cat, only 6 pounds and the size small was good for hereven if she gains a pound or two. Having said all that, my previous 11 pound cat would have easily been coaxed or simply placed by hand into this harness in a bigger size. It is well made, so light! And the buckle opens and shuts securely with ease, not one of those ones you need 3 hands for. I am impressed by this harness in every way. If I ever get this wild child back in it I’ll take a pic. Also, when she was in it, it looked snug on her and I was concerned maybe she couldn’t breathe, so I put my finger under it where her ribs were and she had *plenty* of breathing space so looks are decieving. I give this a 5 star-rating. Thank you for making it. Update: I figured out if I can just get the harness around her belly loosely with the velcro, if I do that then pull it forward like I’m trying to help her get out of it she actually puts one or two feet in and then I snap the actual buckle closed! Not easy, but its happened once so it can happen again lol. And again truly great quality, so breathable and light.

Product came in a timely manner and fit my cat well. It took her a while to get used to it, but she adjusted pretty quickly. It felt really sturdy and well made with proper padding and D rings located in the back guarentee your cat can’t slip out. This would be a great fall and winter harness, but too warm to wear in spring and summer. It’s also much heavier than her H harness so she can’t move as quickly which is really good if I want to take your cat to a new place and don’t want then running off or climbing random trees. So far so good but my cat has only worn it a couple of times and still needs to get used to getting into it.

The harness went on easily and the fastening are secure. It was also a nice colour. However I am looking for a harness for a Rex cat. That bread has a very small neck. It’s hard to find a harness that fits both the neck and the chest. This one is loose on the neck and a little tight on the chest (chest is adjustable and I had it on the biggest setting). If I buy the next size up the neck will be so big she can slip out of it easily, but as it is the chest is too tight. Probably a good fit for a very small dog or regular small cat but breeds like the Rex and Sphinx will not have a good fit with this.

My cat didnât like walking in this, the amount of coverage around the legs clearly made him feel like his movement was impeded. He doesnât have this problem with other harnesses. Also, he slipped his front legs out of it yesterday which scared the heck out of me as we live on a busy street. To be fair, he is 10 lbs so right on the cusp of the medium to large and I went for the large, perhaps the medium would have been better who knows.It does do up tight around his torso but is roomy around the neck, hence him slipping out. I would try the medium except I think he already hates the feel of it, so I will be getting a different one altogether.On a positive note, the way it does up at the back is genius, the leash does up via two rings- one on either side of the clasp- so it is impossible for him to bust out of it that way.
