Just Do It.
Definitely a purchase I could NOT have gone without while starting off my breast milk journey. I purchased both the 5oz and 4oz and have decided that ultimately the 5oz is my favorite (slightly better suction and obviously holds more). Though I still continue to use both since there’s a significant size difference between the two and sometimes you really do need a smaller haakaa depending on the situation.I’ve always been on the super itty bitty side, though earlier post partum I was around a B and now probably a C (I’m 16 weeks postpartum and have gained quite a bit of weight so boobies are growing). I’ve never had an issue with these suctioning to me or falling. Not even when they’re filled to the brim. Though they have been kicked off of me twice! But that’s really my fault. The lid itself works well too, but I do sometimes have an issue with the suction base not fully working (that’s super rare though).I get the best results when I’m using one alongside a manual pump. I haven’t tried it with my Spectra yet but I’m tempted to now that I think of it. Alongside breastfeeding they work just fine too but I tend to get less milk. And as a solo pump I don’t really see these working too well. I’ve tried it but usually only get results when I’m having a random letdown, and then all it catches is foremilk. I guess that can be used as a tactic to get rid of your foremilk before you sit down for an actual pump session.I find the Haakaa super easy to clean as well. I use Dapple soap (super great for milk film!) And the Oxo Tot bottle brush. It also hangs perfectly on my Boon Sprig so I don’t have to worry about it falling over while drying or anything.Overall I’m so glad I bit the bullet and got my Haakaas. Without them I may not have established my supply as well as I have and that means a lot to me.

My daughter in law is loving hers! She is breastfeeding and able to catch extra milk that let’s down from the other side, and she has enough milk left after he eats that she can catch sometimes up to 6 oz of milk! All with the Haakah!

Convenient for on the go
This is very easy to put on and use without hands, very easy to clean also. I like how it suctions to the table as well. Only question is are u supposed to âpumpâ it by squeezing it or just let it suction on itâs own?
