Disappointing
Editing review per their request as they are emailing me and stating they will go ahead and refund, reaching out before I had to move through Amazon.So far, had it for one day – decorative ring fell off, and the anti-slip handle was immediately pulled from the hand. The ring was actually installed wrong, it looked like they had just slapped it on without even checking as it was turned sideways and had to be re-seated completely.The light is good, but that’s about it so far. The cord also will definitely not work well for a large dog. It’s not heavy duty, it’s almost like a cheap moving rope that was only sewn together with a single loop instead of 2-3 that you’d expect from a heavy duty cord. The snap hook is a tiny little thing that barely went over the loop in the harness.And the stop isn’t that great. It says for dogs up to 90 pounds, but my 60 lb Husky pulled the cord even after we hit the stop. She pulls it all the way until 10 ft, which is crazy.All in all, very disappointing. I’ll be sending it back.

GREAT IDEA
I liked it but my puppy jerked it out of my hand and when the handle part started following her, it scared her and she ran back to the house. It was a fright for her and me, but fortunately she was not injured. THANK GOD!So I ordered a hands free one that straps around my waste and has a handle also. I’m not taking anymore chances with my little angel.

Took a little getting used to
This took me a little to get used to since it’s quite a bit shorter than my prior retractable leash. The handle seems extra large, the button to lock the leash pushes in the opposite direction from my prior leash, and the button to turn on the flashlight is in a hard to reach spot. But, now that I’m used to it, I love it.The extra large handle is actually really comfortable and I can get a good grip on it. I haven’t accidentally let go of the handle at all, whereas with my last leash, I dropped it several times a month.The button to lock it still takes me some extra effort, this is the one thing that I would change on the leash.The shorter length gives me more control over my dog, so she might not like it, lol, but I do.You can’t turn on the flashlight one-handed which would be nice, but it’s not necessary. I’ve worked out a process that makes it seamless. And I love that I can just charge it when I need to (which hasn’t happened yet as it came fully charged)I haven’t used the carabiner to hook it to a chair or table leg yet, but I did test how it works, and it’s nice. No more lifting a piece of furniture to hook it up and it locks into place, so you don’t have to worry about it accidentally opening.I would definitely buy this again and again.

Lewis approved. ð¾I ordered this to give my dog a little more freedom on walks. I had an old, cheap retractable leash that was junk and decided it was time for an upgrade. We’ve already tried this out, and this is an upgrade for sure.The mechanism locks and unlocks easily, giving me plenty of control, to let his leash out, or retract it easily, or lock it wherever desired. I like that the leash is not a cord like a lot of retractable leashes, but is about a quarter-inch wide nylon strap, and it all feels very sturdy. Lewis is 32 pounds, and pulls like a goat, but I was able to control him very well.The light worked right out of the box. I don’t usually walk my dog at night but it is a nice feature to have, if we travel with Lewis and need to take him out after dark on a leash this will be useful for sure. I was wondering about the placement, being mounted right under where the leash comes out of the handle, but with the dog on leash, the leash does not interfere with the light at all.Another nice feature: the handle opens up like a carabiner, and can lock around a smaller pole, to tie the dog in place if needed. This is also quite secure, opens and closes nicely, and a real bonus for the retractable leash.This even has a little removeable poop bag compartment (screws off), that my typical poop bags fit inside, and pull out as expected. Everything you need for walking the dog, all in one nice package.All in all, this is a real value and a great find, and well worth the $24.99. âââââ

Taking the good with the badâ¦
Retractable Dog Leash 4 in 1 with LED Light & Dispenser & Fixed Hanging, 10 ft Heavy Duty. I really wanted to love this leash, and there ARE things to love about it, like the flashlight (USB-C charger included), the comfy grip, the attached bag dispenser, the strong, 10ft lead, and the ability to anchor the whole thing on a railing when you have to park the dog for a minute. Unfortunately (for me), the two things I dislike about it, I seriously hate. The lesser of the two being the fact that the bag dispenser cap pops off at the slightest provocation. There are two tiny holes, so you can rig up a loop to at least keep the cap from getting lost, but that doesnât keep your roll of bags from flying out, and unraveling. Itâs annoying, but you could figure out a way to fix the problem, I suppose. The bigger issue (and itâs a dealbreaker for me) is that it slips gears, constantly. This is a common problem with these types of leashes, so itâs not a huge surprise, but I have one that never slips gears, and now Iâm spoiled. I now know I donât have to live with that, so it makes contending with it untenable. I could forgive the bag dispenser problem, but the gear problem on top of it is why Iâm giving this item three stars.
