Customers say
Customers find that the lamp has a good night light brightness with different levels. They appreciate that it helps their child sleep better and longer, with no annoying little lights that can’t be turned off. Many customers find the design cute and sweet. The volume control and star projection are also appreciated. However, some customers have mixed opinions on the sound quality, functionality, and overall quality.

Tons of features!
Expecting our second baby and we have a similar product for our first that isnât made anymore, so decided to try this one.Overall, a great product for the price and frankly best thing we could find (we wanted music and projection). Lots of sounds, more than we need Iâm sure. I hate that itâs not battery powered, as we lose power out in our holler too frequently for 2022, but part of the reason we picked this is because they make a smaller battery powered version that does less, so we can have something similar as backup. I only wish they make a value pack with both or something. The projected stars are fine. Not as good as the first thing we had (this has only stars, no planets or anything, and solid white only), but I LOVE that the angle is adjustable.I LOVE the timer and continuous options. Our 3yoâs slightly different thing only has one time option and we find ourselves resetting it sometimes multiple times if she doesnât quite fall asleep in the allotted time. That was probably honestly the biggest selling point of this one for us.Also love that the nightlight part will stay on even when the music is done. Thatâs a big bonus. The sound quality (especially of the classical music) leaves a lot to be desired – it sounds very tinny and sad like a bad music box. Itâs actually pretty pathetic. But, I donât think the newborn will care and again, so many great features that itâs still well worth it.

Perfect light and/or noise machine
I love that this owl has separate buttons for the volume and light features. I love the variety of sounds and lullabies, our favorites are the ocean noise, heartbeat and Twinkle Twinkle. I love the setting for the duration the owl stays on. Cute gift for any baby or child. We have had this for 5 years and it is still working perfectly.

Money well spent! Perfect multi-use item!
I searched everywhere for the perfect nightlight/soother combination, and I kept coming back to this one! Iâm glad I did. I think itâs a good value for what you get…and I believe itâs good quality too. It puts out just enough light and I LOVE the moon and stars projecting scene (that you can adjust) for your baby to enjoy when itâs dark. Itâs like a mini planetarium in their nursery! As my daughter grows, I know sheâs going to love that! The variety of sounds are also soothing and relaxing even to an adult. To top it all off, itâs a super cute item, and I loved that it matched our forest animal nursery theme. I canât find many items in this category that I would even find competitive. Most I see donât offer this much all in one. If you want a nightlight and a soother and a projecting moon and star scene…look no further!

Total sleep game changer! A MUST HAVE!!
Total game changer for my 6mo sleeping. We first received the small owl from our baby shower. It worked great but it shut off after 60mins. My son would wake up when it shut off. I still use the small own when out and about and need to white noise to help cancel outside noise and have him nap on the go. Back to the big owl…the night light is beautiful! Itâs bright but not too bright and adjustable. My little guy looks for it all of the time! The different sounds are exactly what we need and the louder the better – this thing cranks if you want it to.. or is super quiet. And there is a timer but itâs also continuous. I just bought another one for my husbands godson for Christmas. Love this product!!

Not as nice as the mobile one
Not as nice as the mobile one… I bought the $13 portable skip hop owl that attaches to a stroller or such and I absolutely love it. The only problem is that due to the nature of the battery life, there is only a 60-minute option. Enter the big, power-corded owl! This is a great set up in theory, but the speakers or the recording or something must be different because the calm ocean sound on this massive owl is quite frankly annoying in comparison to the mobile owl. And that sound/setting was the only reason why I purchased it. The quietest setting is super loud and I basically wrap swaddles around the entire thing to try to attempt to smother or lower the sound level. Otherwise, itâs super cute and has other lighting and projector options that may come in handy later as a distraction, but right now itâs just a waste of space and a disappointment. Also, beware that a friendâs owl went straight up exorcist on them – halfway thru the lullaby setting it starts summoning Satan. All of this aside, mine still works fine despite my annoyance with the sound quality or decibel level. Therefore, I will give it more stars than itâs probably worth simply because itâs cute and others may like the different sound options, and it may work great for them.Random 2020 Update:My first owlâs electrical cord/plug hosed the owl up somehow, so it stopped turning on. My friend told me to contact Skip Hop for a replacement, and let me tell you, they really pulled through. Adding another star for their customer service. And now that my kids are older, they donât care that itâs a bit loud, they love love love the moon and stars and âsnow.â I will still stand by my title: âNot as nice as the mobile oneâ simply because we adore the stroller/mobile one, but it has definitely been worth it, as we are still rocking this six years later!!!

Very Cute! Nice nightlight, projection dim
This is a very nice addition to our nursery. The nightlight belly is soft and dimmable, the songs and white noise are perfect levels and clear. The projection is a little bit dim, but thatâs probably warranted! The timer function also works.

Perfect night light
I had this for many years with my first but stopped working. I loved it so much I bought for my second who is actually 5 for a night light with stars in the ceiling. Sweet little sound machine. I wish it stayed charged if the power ever went out however.

Hands down best purchase made for my babe. Use it every night! We room shared and loved that it came with multiple sounds that are enjoyable for all ears. Also the nightlight is great for the middle of the night feedings instead of turning on a lamp or over head light. It has multiple levels so was able to pick just enough light to see but not enough to keep babe up. Love how easy it is to use and that you can keep it on forever or pick time limits. My only dislike is the buttons are very loud when pushed, they make a very audible clicking sound.

Amazon Customer –
The product is expensive but it has multiple options for sound ( a little low for Indian household), a projector with stars and moon and a dim light . Most importantly works throughout night on continuous mode. Only con is it is not battery operated. My 4 month old loves it !!! Seller Pearl imports delivered the product in time.
