Definitely keeps my Dog safe
I use this mainly in the summer when I drive my Jeep with doors and roof off. I feel secure knowing it keeps my dog in his place and he won’t roll out or jump out. He’s pretty well behaved but you never know. It is very sturdy and I trust it will keep him secure. It is long enough so that he has room to get up and walk to the other side of the backseat with no issues and he does not get tangled up in the cord. He cannot jump in the back. For reference I have a 2.5 year old 80 lb Husky Boy. Highly recommend!

Save your dog
I see people every day driving with their dog roaming around the back and front seat of their vehicle. Folks, if you have an accident, your dog may not survive unless it is ‘buckled’ in. This device is so easy to use. It clips onto the metal ring that a child seat clips onto (stick your hand down in between the back and seat) then you clip it onto your dog’s collar or harness. This keeps them from flying off the seat should you have to stop fast or worse, jumping out the window of your vehicle while it is moving. My 50 lb. lab/pit mix doesn’t mind being buckled in….she can still put her head out the window or sit in the middle of the back seat and look out the front. It is basically indestructible.

I had to order the XXL size. My dog is large, but not XXL. I use it in the back of my SUV and needed the extra length to reach my dogâs back harness attachment. It seems sturdy. My dog has chewed through part of the plastic coating, but I doubt heâll chew through the metal though like he has through three other leashes.

Works well
This vehicle restraint cable works very well to keep our cavapoo limited on where she can reach in the car and keeps her safer if we have to stop quickly. She does not get tangled in it at all. We got the 26â and it works perfectly. She is about 30 pounds.

Sturdy harness for back of SUV transport
This works well attached to the recessed wall hooks in the back of my suv. The length is good to allow my dog to sit, stand or lay down, but short enough to keep him on one side of the vehicle (so cooler/bags/etc can be transported on the other side). Heâs a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde personality on car rides, going from chill to crazy-train and back to chill, depending on the scenery (and if a motorcycle is in view). This leash keeps him safe and secure in the back of the vehicle, even when he pulls and lunges at the 2-wheeled noise machines.

Awesome Clip In, Clip Out. To Be Used With a Harness to Protect Your Dog and To Protect Yourself From Crazy Dog While Driving.
Awesome. What a great idea. This works great with my Cymas Pet Seat Cover (purchased on Amazon). I recently purchased a new Honda Pilot and want to restrain my dog to the rear seat. We had a minivan which was easier to load her, but then she had too much space and someone would have to go back with her to restrain her.Now she jumps in and I clip her Easy Walk harness to this leash that I keep installed in the rear seat. I purchased the 31″ and she can stand up, lay down, but can not leap over the seat back. I was going to purchase a short leash for this purpose but this is way better. My dog is a female german shepard / lab mix 65 lbs, so the smaller end of large dog size. This keeps her safely restrained in the car. To get out I keep her walking leash connected to the harness and can just reach in and unclip this seat belt restraint and take her and go. We used to use a dog seat belt restraint vest harness that you have to thread the seat belt through when she was a puppy, but someone would have to put that on and climb into the back and belt it in, several minutes of agony.I do recommend that Leashboss emphasizes clearly that dog’s are not safe to be clipped to their collar, they must be connected to a harness. In a serious accident I would guess that a dog restrained by collar would sustain serious if not fatal neck injury, and an unrestrained dog is just like an unrestrained child – a projectile.

Bought this for my Mom’s dog to keep it in the backseat. Works great and keeps her dog safely secured in the car. (She once jumped out of the car and ran into traffic.) Bolts securely to the car seat hook up and she’s not going to chew through it like she did with her polyester leashes. Overall, a good, sturdy, quality product.
