Game Changer
This is the second time I’ve purchased this leash. My first one lost the light presumably in a tangle when the dogs walked behind me to switch postions, and I didn’t notice until we got home since I wasn’t using the light that day. My dogs are extremely fond of making circles around me when we walk, and before I got this leash, I spent our entire walks unwinding leashes and stepping over the lines or doing pirouets with the leashes over my head. This leash untangles every time they switch positions, so I can now walk them with just one hand & enjoy a beverage in the other hand or actually use my phone one-handed. No, it’s not perfect & you sometimes have to nudge it to get the lines unwound all the way, but it’s no big deal & far easier than managing two separate retractable leashes. I enjoy my walks with my dogs significantly more now. I’ve had the leash for a couple years, and it still functions as if it’s brand new. I just really liked the light for nighttime walks, and I can use a backup leash for the occasional misplacement. It is really worth every penny.

It was amazing… for about 15 minutes
After about only 15 minutes of use, one of the leashes will not lock anymore. I took my 2 scottish terriers for a walk as usual and was loving the no-tangle mechanism and the ease of holding only 1 handle. After a little while I noticed the leash on one of the dogs would not lock anymore. No excessive force was applied to it, my dogs weigh only about 20 pounds and this leash is supposed to be rated for 50. I was very dissapointed with the poor quality control. Sadly I’m unable to return the product so I will try to repair it myself. Needless to say I do not recommend this product.UPDATE: So I just managed to repair the leash. Thankfully no internal pieces had been broken so what I’m guessing is one of the pieces in the mechanism falls out of place with use and makes the black leash not lock anymore. I expect I’ll be repairing it a lot in the future but it’s so good when it works that it’s worth it. My advice would be to use the gray leash with the heavier dog / the one who pulls the most, because that is the most reliable one.

Great Leash for Twoâ¦.
Iâve read several reviews about this two lead leash, both good and bad. I myself have now had two of this leash and, âto me,â best leash ever. Had the first leash a couple years before one lead finally stopped retracting. But, for the time I had I, and.., the constant locking, unlocking, heavy pulling and retracting âdailyâ over that period of time, Iâm surprised it lasted as long it did. Immediately bought my second Wigzi leash which is still going strong after another year plus. The greatest feature is⦠both dogs have 10 feet of leash each and, a 20 foot diameter (from right to left) to roam independent of one another. Does this leash unwind itself? For the most part it does a good job if close in. The farther out they are, and, depending how close together they walk after creating a twist, youâll have to spin the hosing now and then. Not a problem at all. Having one 50# and one 38# dog, I let both walk with fully extended leash, letting the leash retract and extend along with how the dogs walk, investigateâ¦pulling them back and locking both leads a few times if I need to shorten the lengths depending on what we might be encountering. Bottom line: perfect for allowing dogs a freedom while being perfectly controlled at all times. But remember, this unit (although solid) is still a âplasticâ product. I feel mine is experiences moderate to above moderate stresses every day. Constant locking, unlocking, pullingâ¦with force. Works perfectly. âIfâ your walking a âentericâ 50+ German Shepard, Rottweilerâ¦suggest you pass on this. If the same dogs are cool, calm and more relaxed, not a problem. Both my dogs and I enjoy our walks using this two lead unit.

Excellent Walker but flashlight has fallen off and gotten lost on the past three
I love this dog walker, and I have ordered it three times! After about a year of use sometimes one of the walkers will fail and stop working. Iâll order another one. The only downside to this walker is that the flashlight does not stay in place. I have lost the flashlight on the last two and the third one just broke off and wonât attach correctly. I wish they would make a new flashlight attachment. Maybe a Velcro flashlight.

22 Months and still functional!!!
This leash has exceeded its money value far and above. The rubber handle cover is worn to fragments from 3-4 times a day usage. Granted my 2, 30 lb, well trained cattle dogs don’t pull much, but a leash used multiple daily times should not last this long. Its doesn’t tangle. I know other reviews mentioned the nylon leash part breaking. I may have just gotten lucky because both are still holding strong. The retractable cord inside is starting to wear and look fuzzy as it is fraying. BUT……2 years….come on….buy this leash and if you get lucky and not get a faulty one, its well worth the money.

Great concept
This is my favorite retractable dual leash. I absolutely love the concept and is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, it only lasts for about 5 months. I have already purchased two. On both purchases, one of the latches That keeps the leash from retracting stops working. It is disheartening to spend so much when it breaks in five months.I have chosen to purchase a third one, just because It fits my needs very well. And unfortunately, i’m not expecting it to last more than another five months, but it’s still a choice for me to buy another one. What can I say? I’m a glutton for punishment. LolI’m only giving three stars because I do believe it should last longer than five months. But they will still get my money and support because I do like the product itself.I don’t expect it to last forever. A year would be more satisfactory. :)I am really hoping they construct a better one at some point. It would even be nice if they had a year warranty. And you can turn the old one in for a new one and t fix them. I have a pomeranian and a mini aussi for reference to size of dogs

Love this leash but wish it was not made of thin rope – would much prefer the softer material just in case you gotta grab the leash itself to move the dogs. Also, put the dog who likes to lead on the grey leash as that’s the one that seems to go forward easier. It does twirl with the movement of the dogs but sometimes you have to manually move the roller to get the leashes untangled with themselves. My dogs are 25 lbs each so I wouldn’t go heavier. It does take some practice getting used to the buttons and how to stop the dogs and also stay back when visiting other dogs/people… tangling with everything is very easy. I do love the leash though… if I stay in my own space it works great! My pups are learning how to wait for each other when one wants to sniff more. Thanks!

2 etwa gleich grosse Hunde an einer Doppelleine, mit ca. 3 m Reichweite u zusätzliches Licht im Dunkeln, super. Mit der Spule, die das “Verheddern” der Leine verhindert soll, funktioniert nicht immer, ist aber durch ein paar Drehs behoben. Aufladbare LED-Lampe ist sehr hilfreich in dunklen Zeiten. Schön wäre es, wenn die Leinen, statt grau/schwarz, bunt leuchten
