It works butâ¦not as well as I hoped
Noise level is very quiet and doesnât scare my pug.It works but takes a decent amount of time to grind the nails down. I feel like once the dogs nails get a tad too long, you are better off clipping them and then grinding them. I ordered this product on august 20th and didnât receive it until September 11th, so my dogs nails were too long at that point and it took forever.The head is difficult to remove and I have been unable to remove it so far. So cleaning is more difficult than it needs to be. However if the head/guard could be removed easily, then cleaning would be a breeze.Itâs easy to use, and has a decent battery charge. I used it for about 15 minutes and the battery hasnât gone down at all.No instructions came with the package, I had to look it up on the web.I give this 3.5 out of 5 stars based on only the product.If my rating was based on the product and the extremely long shipping time, I would give it 2 out of 5.Hope this helps.

Took too long to grind, my Bullmastiff would get impatient. I would have to clip nail then grind to smooth.Cheaply made, plug area broke and cannot connect to charge.

Takeâs forever but it is quiet
I really had the impression this would work more effectively than it does. I used it on my 4 month old pup and it took FOREVER! I cannot even imagine how ineffective it will be on his adult size nails. It is quiet but thatâs not important since few dogs will hold still for as long as it takes. I wish I had returned it!
