How did we get our start?
We began out of a fourth grade class project in 2013 on trading Henry. He made pinback buttons to sell to his classmates and that summer he sold them at local farmers markets, then moving online to his website and Amazon.

Great product & great customer service
I purchased a small 13″ green Moroccan tile print dog collar with my pug’s name & ph# on it for $20 which is a decent price for customization too. Unfortunately, I measured Ayla’s neck when she was upright instead of on her four paws. The collar arrived but was too small. I contacted their customer service via email and thought I’d have to purchase a whole new collar but there was no nonsense back and forth emails, they just let me know that they would be shipping me a new collar, same print & customization in size medium. The replacement arrived last week and it fits perfectly and Ayla, my pug, loves it and it looks nice. Check this company out if you are looking for a new dog collar!

Good-Looking Collar, Well Made
I came to Amazon looking for a collar like this one because my blue heeler pup managed to chew her ID tag to the point that it was illegible (she’s a barracuda in a dog’s body). My cats have embroidered ID collars (from the Kitty Convict Project), and I was hoping something similar existed for dogs. This fits the bill! It only just arrived today, so I can’t speak to its durability yet, but it appears well made, with a sturdy clasp and substantial ring for attaching a leash. I ordered the M-Wide, and it’s a good fit (I probably could have gone with the narrower size, but I figured wider collar = bigger font). She’s 11 months and about 30 pounds, and I don’t expect her to grow much more, but there is plenty of room for her to grow in the collar without it being too big. I got the teal collar with the dotted pattern. The colors are vibrant, and the lettering (in white) stands out clearly. I was able to fit her six-letter name plus my 10-digit phone number and 5-digit zip code. Assuming the letters/numbers don’t fade or rub off, it’s the perfect solution to my ID problem, and it looks good on her to boot!

Beautiful collar and AMAZING customer service !
We received our first collar 4 days earlier than was anticipated, which is fast for a custom collar.Unfortunately there was a mistake. I wasn’t 100% certain if it was on my end or Buttonsmith’s end. I sent off a message and there was a prompt reply asking what the about the mistake. Quickly after notifying them, I received a message that they were shipping out a new collar with the correction. The new collar came in, still sooner than the original ship date from the first collar!The collar itself is beautiful, lightweight, with strong stitching and sturdy hardware. Lightweight is important for a pup that wants to get off the ground to catch a frisbee ;)I ordered the the medium that will give Tillie ample room to grow. She is eight months and has already grown out of her two store bought collars. They were faded and starting to fray, which is not a problem I anticipate with this collar.After seeing the quality and experiencing the wonderful prompt customer service, I’m ordering a matching leash. As soon as they start making custom cat collars with a breakaway clasp, I’ll order three for the felines in the house.

Beautiful
These collars are beautiful. They are well made and the names are actually part of the collar, not on top or embroidery. I bought these as we keep losing the little metal tags, like you get from Pet Smart or Ace hardware. Did actually have an issue with size and a double order. The customer service was quick to respond and very polite. They issued a timely refund . I will be buying from them again. The collars are durable and exactly what I was looking for.

Great sturdy collar
I use these collars on all my dogs. I love the width that can be ordered for the smaller lengths. The reason I took a star away is because the phone number cannot be read because of the adjustment buckle. That isnt very functional if the dog is lost.

Great collars!
I ordered three of these collars in the striped design and they were shipped the same day I ordered them. They were nicely packaged and each collar fit well when adjusted. The chosen printing is repeated continuously along the length of the collar, so regardless of how the collar is adjusted, you can always easily read the full name/number printed. The colors are bright, the collar is smooth and flexible and the white printing stands out. The companyâs logo is printed on the inside of the collar along with made in the USA. Iâve ordered several different embroidered dog collars previously and these, although not technically embroidered, are the nicest Iâve seen. Hopefully, theyâll hold up well. Love them!

Excellent quality, even better customer service!
I made an error when placing my order late on a Sunday night. I realized the mistake and sent an email asking if a phone number could be added to the collar. I didnt have much hope that the message would be received in time. Not to worry, this amazing company not only received my message, but they reached out to me via email to let me know the correction was made. I also reached out by phone the next morning before i saw the email, and they called me back almost immediately to assure me it was taken care of. I received the collar 3 days later! It’s a great quality, lightweight collar with a gorgeous pattern, and the personalization was expertly done, very crisp and clear lettering. A very unique collar. On their website you can read an interesting bio on how they began their family owned and operated business, and it’s a heartwarming, inspiring story. Anyone considering this company over any of the others out there should not hesitate to order from Buttonsmith, the quality of the product I received was outstanding, and their customer service is on point!
