Why should pets’ nails be polished? 1. Because pet dogs often play indoors, their nails are too sharp, which can easily hook the carpet or other places and cause danger; 2. Dogs who often exercise outdoors can use the rough ground to wear their nails to achieve balance, while dogs who often exercise indoors have less nail wear; 3. Long nails will cause inconvenience to the dog’s activities, and proper polishing will make him more comfortable.

Not just for dogs
I got this to file my dogsâ nails, but I just canât get them to like it. I donât see anything wrong with the tool; just my dogs arenât used to this tool. I didnât want to waste this tool so, I started using this on me! Yes, I used this to file my nails and remove shellac/gel polish off of my nails. Works perfectly fine! My nails arenât thick and with careful control of the tool, you can file your nails and/or remove shellac/gel polish off very smoothly. This is rechargeable so, no need to worry about buying batteries. I recommend it to use on any animal lol.

Powerful
It’s always been a long battle trying to clip my dogs nails, and she’s still not used to it so I wanted to try this. I was really surprised how well she tolerated this grinder. The only concerns I noticed were that this created a lot of dust, and my vision is poor so I need to look closely at what I’m doing and I end up breathing some of it LOL. Also it generated heat so I need to do just a little bit at a time or switch between nails often. Like I said in the headline, this is really powerful, and the low setting was plenty, but I guess if you have a large dog the higher setting would be good. I have a mini dachshund. I like the different options for grinding, and the guard is a must for me because my dog still pulls and squirms a little. I think I will still use a combination of the clippers and the grinder. The clippers shock her so I can’t nibble at the nails to get a smooth end, so I will just use them for the bulk cut, then smooth it out quickly with the grinder. Now that I’ve said that I like this unit even more. 🙂 Possibly if I use this daily I could keep her nails well manicured, but I tend not to bother my dog too much and only look at her nails on occasion or if I see her snag on something. It’s a really good product, and I’m sure I’ll like it the more I use it and we will both get accustomed to it. I really appreciate the product, thanks for letting me try it out.

This thing vibrates like crazy!
If you have a calm enough dog and are scared of trimming with dog nail trimmers, this is the perfect solution. However, that being said .. its not very powerful, but doesn’t really need to be. Only confusing thing is that the battery charge indicator just illuminates all three options at once!? What does that even mean? Also, when charging the unit, there is no indication that its actually charging… no lights at all .. just seems like the unit is ‘off’. I will tell you that you will vibrate your hand until its numb using this thing! I’m not sure what it is … maybe the grinding heads are not balanced or something? But, yes … your hands will tingle within a minute or so of using it. Maybe plan on wearing some cotton gloves to dampen the vibrations. The unit does not come with a charging block. It comes with a USB- A to USB- C cord. It’s a USB- C socket to charge the unit. So, if you have a charging block with a type-C output, you will not be able to use the cord that it comes with… but than goodness pretty much all new phones use a type-c!

Works okay.
Clipping my dog’s nails has always been a struggle so when I saw this nail grinder I decided I would give it a try.Well, it is still a challenge.I suppose if you put more pressure than you’d think necessary to the nail it would probably work, even with brand new batteries, that or else my dogs have the world’s thickest nails because they didn’t even make a dent. It isn’t quiet, so it is possible that your dog(s) will freak out over the noise. Honestly, I feel more like I added a new tool to my husband’s tool box as opposed to having something that I had hoped would make my life easier.

Effective and Easy to Use
This dog nail grinder works wonders for trimming my dog’s nails! It’s quiet, gentle, and provides a smooth, painless finish. A great alternative to traditional clippers, making the process much easier for both me and my pet.

Works well on trimmed nails
K&K dog nail grinder is a great weekly alternative to trimming your pets nails without any trauma. The grinder works well and holds up with small or large nails so far. The device is more similar to a grinding tool in your garage than something for pet care, but this should not be a detractor.

Works ok
The file head is a nice grit for nails and the device is relatively quiet. However, the opening on the guard is only big enough for small dog or cat nails. You can take that off but then itâs not protected which is annoying if your dog is a fighter. No light which would be nice to see the nails easier. Battery also runs down super fast. Overall, better products for similar price are out there

Great for pups.
My dogs get nervous about trimming their nails but were not afraid of this product. I used this on my two golden doodles. It worked better than expected. I do wish it came with a light. Very easy to use.
