I would recommend for sensory games, it’s different textures, the size it’s just right for us , we 19 months old.

Folded and creased
They were packaged folded in half and are deeply creased. It’s a shame because they have a good variety of textures.

Great for puppy culture program!
I used these actually for a litter of puppies, to introduce novelty. Same concept as one would use for infants. They invoked a lot of curiosity, and if the puppies put them in their mouths and chewed or walked on them, they are washable. There are ALOT of them, too.

Great for classrooms!
I’m a special education teacher with a lot of neurodivergent students, so I’m always looking for fidget items that will keep the kids focused without turning into a toy. These sensory mats have worked pretty well so far. Each one is the size of a dessert plate and has a different texture, from soft and fluffy, to kind of rough. They make for a nice surface for the kids to touch or scratch quietly without disturbing others or interrupting instruction. The only one that I had to remove from rotation was the flippy sequin one, which proved to be a bit too much of a distraction for some of my kids. I also had to remind the kids not to put these on their faces because of the potential to spread germs- if you’ve taught highly sensory kids, you know the struggle.Overall, these are a great tool for the classroom. The only thing I didn’t like was that they were sent in vacuum packaging, so some of the fluffier mats were pretty deflated and needed some TLC for the textures to spring back. The price is very good for the number of mats that you get in this set.
