Misting function helps to keep the fur from flying!
This brush has a misting function that helps gather loose fur from your cat’s coat during brushing sessions. It comes with a small squirt bottle to fill the water reservoir. You just pull the reservoir cover off, and then push it back on once you’ve filled it.Fur typically flies everywhere when I brush my cats, so the idea of using a mist to help collect the loose fur was really intriguing. I honestly thought my cats would hate it, though, as they aren’t fans of water. To my surprise, they didn’t seem to mind it at all. They hardly even noticed it because it’s such a incredibly fine mist. The mist did make them fairly damp, but I toweled them off and they dried quickly. This is a regular brush, not a deshedding brush like a Furminator, and these types of basic brushes never seem to collect much fur from my shorthaired cats. However, this brush seemed to collect more fur because the mist helped attract it. I find this brush especially helpful after a Furminator session when a lot of fur has been loosened up.Note: Once you’ve finished using this brush, be sure to empty the water reservoir. I keep mine stored with the reservoir cap off so that it can completely dry.

Comfortable brush
The product works and everything is as described. However, the charging cable gets really hot when I was using it, and the steam is not strong enough. At first the cat was scared by the hissing of the steam, but then he got used to it and had great time.

Great misting deshdding pet brush for most dogs
Brush is nice looking with a solid grip. Has a reservoir for water which is easy to fill with the enclosed squeeze bottle.Thought it would work great for my Shiba Inu, but I found that the bristles are designed more for pets with shorter hair or many a regular coat. My dog has an undercoat as well as the regular one which makes deshedding her a daily battle. The addition of a water mist while brushing is genius. More hair did come out but the sheer volume and length of fur shedding off my dog is too much for the brush. While the brush wasn’t a great fit for my double-coated shedding Shiba Inu,, I’d still recommend it for most other dogs that have normal coats. The water mist feature is a brilliant and unique feature which makes de-shedding dogs a lot easier and faster. Might consider getting this as a gift for a friend that recently adopted a kitten..

Great cat brush but be sure to acclimate your cat
This cat brush is super easy to use. Just fill it with some drops of water and turn it on. It puts out cool steam at the top of the brush and the bristles have round knobs at each end which helps remove the loose fur. Best of all, it’s rechargeable so you’re not having to buy batteries.I especially love the fur “eject” button that pushes all of the hair to the end of the bristles so it’s easy to grab and throw away. To start the steam, the button is reachable with your thumb so if you need to turn it off suddenly, that’s easy too.My cat loves getting brushed with this as a regular brush with no steam. But when I turn the steam on, he’s a bit skittish and runs away. I have to work on acclimating him to the steam and the faint sound that accompanies it so that he will get used to it. If he doesn’t, it’s still a great cat brush.

Great brush if your cat isn’t a scaredy-cat
I had high hopes for this brush, as I love the design of it. I have a domestic medium-hair cat with a thick, dense coat, and these sorts of brushes work very well on his fur. The packaging is very nice, and it even comes with a special bottle to help get the water into the brush (and not all over your sink!).However, the brush makes a fairly quiet, high-pitched whistle when using the mist option, and my cat was terrified of it. I tried to distract him with his favorite treats, but the instant the button as pushed, he was out of there. Hence, I can’t give a proper review of the misting functionality; I will say it looked to be a very nice, solid mist, and on less sensitive cats would likely be a great boon.As a regular brush, however, it’s still great. The handle is solid, and it still caught quite a bit of my boy’s fur dry. It has a button to push to help ‘eject’ the hair, which is a lifesaver for those of us with furry kitties and bad fingers. So even as a standard cat brush, it definitely delivers.I still plan to use it as one of my regular brushes to help maintain his coat. I’ll just wet him down myself first, I guess!

Gets your petâs fur pretty wet
This brush worked differently than I imagined. I thought it was be kind of a like a warm steam that can be soothing. My catâs hair is pretty clean and short so maybe thatâs why it didnât seem to make a huge difference.- Mist was not cool and not warm (even if you put in warm water). I dunno why I thought it was going to be warmer.- The cover for the water reservoir was really hard to open.- The power button doesnât have an indicator that the power is on and kind of hard to press down on. It just starts to steam after a minute.- Gets your petâs fur pretty wet. If you have humidifier itâs like putting it on the highest setting- Itâs hard to empty the water reservoir if you donât plan on using it any time soon

Big win for cat grooming!!
Snagged this for my SIL who has two cats, they shed a lot! She loves this thing! It works very well for brushing your cat with the steam feature, she reports that she gets so much more hair off than with a regular ferminator. The steam is the key!!The device glides easily over the cats fur, while also providing some good hair grappling opportunities. She throws away large balls of hair each time that would otherwise end up on her apartment floors. She states that so far she’s used this twice this week and her cats are very tolerant of the process, which obviously is a big win. These cats ARE used to regular brushing. Good luck!
