Absolutely love this brand of ball for my dog
I end up replacing these every couple years, yep that’s right, years. My border collie will grab this ball in his mouth and then kick another ball around. Don’t know why he has to have something in his mouth to play soccer, but he is unique. He managed to tear one of these up when he was in his teething stage, but it took him months, and I took it away as soon as he managed to remove a piece of it. Otherwise, we usually lose these much more often than them getting destroyed through constant chewing, and I suspect heavy weathering outside for an extended period of time. Nowadays he doesn’t chew on rubber nearly that often, he has developed his own picky preferences. This ball is his must have for playing around. He loves to drop it down the stairs and play fetch with himself. It’s easy for him to grab, it isn’t heavy so we don’t worry about furnishing, walls, or family members when he is tossing it around. It is much more durable than most, with the exception of really heavy chewers/teething, even then it held up for a long time. As long as you are careful to remove it if they manage to chew through I would even try it out with teething puppies. The lawnmower is also this balls nemesis, it loses every time. If only I could convince the dog that he needs to stop sacrificing toys to the lawnmower 🙂

Second one, first one lasted a good while
We leave it outside in the weather with solid results for our backyard dog, and the dog loves this thing. It’s our go to toy for her, … perfect for kick to fetch, tug of war, hide in the shirt, bump the human leg when it is wet, etc. 😉 The first one we used and used and finally it started to show too much weathering, mildew, and finally breaking after like 1.5 years… we have extremely hot and wet weather here. When new though, these balls take a pounding. Our 50 pound dog can play tug of war to the extent we can pick her up while she holds onto the ball with her teeth. The ball doesn’t flinch and the dog loves it. Kicking it is fun because you can give it a wallop and it won’t go over the fence since the design absorbs a fair bit of the kick energy, but it is still enough for an adult or teen to send it about 1/4 an acre away. What else… oh the dog has a funny habit of finding the one spot that isn’t an empty pentagon… as in the plastic is filled in there… and she likes to bit on that part especially during tug of war. I should also mention our dog literally breaks apart and sometimes eats sticks and twigs in the yard, can’t be healthy, so a nice diversion is this ball that she will chew on once in a while without destroying it.

My dog loves this toy and it has lasted several months. It’s tough enough for us to play tug. She also likes to play fetch with it. Her favorite is when I hide treats in paper and stuff the ball for her to pull out.

Very nice, but got the wrong size
Itâs very l if the weight, bouncy and my ferrets actually ended up liking it. But I bought the wrong size! Itâs very nice though if you have a big dog.

Keeps our pup entertained
My purchase history indicates that we have had this ball for over a year for our aggressive chewer. First of all, you can’t even tell that our dog has spent hours upon hours chewing on this thing. Second of all, we put a tennis ball inside and it’s the cutest thing seeing him lying on his back with the ball extended in his paws, watching him try to get to the ball in the middle. Lastly, this is THE toy our dog will grab and nudge us with when he wants us to play with him. Tug of war is his favorite. My dog would agree that this is the best toy!

Amazing product
Having previously purchased this brand (only smaller balls)- I knew my dog is a huge fan. This did not disappoint. Very durable, bouncy, and apt for my aggressive chewer. This one is a larger ball we previously had and he is loving it. Easy to throw, easy to catch, easy to clean. Not that easy to yank out of his mouth haha. Still working on him dropping on command.

This toy is over a year old and was bought to replace an identical model that is now about 10 years old. We still have the original, but it has definitely in the garden and after so much sun and rain, isn’t in as good a condition, but it is still intact.I am disabled and train my dogs exclusively with reward based training, primarily play. This toy is primary toy for those days when my health prevents me from getting out with the dogs enough.If you look closely at the ball, you will see that we stuffed a small squeaky toy inside. This keeps the dogs occupied for hours.We also fill it with paper at times, though it makes a huge mess,.they have great fun.This is be only large ball I have been able to keep intact.Still, it is not a chew toy. If the dog lays down and just chews non stop, I would expect to eventually chew through. We have different things for chewing, primarily natural items .But to survive years of rough play with such powerful dogs I have to give it five stars for durability, and for the many hours of joy has given my dogs, especially at times when I have been very ill I really wish I could give it ten.We also have a smaller version of the same ball, about ten years old, which the parrot took a few bites out of before getting bored with, and the dogs play with this too, but the large one is by far their favourite.That said stuff a dirty sock in the wee one and they will have hours of fun hunting it and playing with it.

Meine Berner Hündin leibt diesen Ball! Er lässt sich prima tragen, sie kann dabei hecheln, was in der Sommerhitze wichtig ist. Sie knautscht ihn mit Wonne und liebt es, ihn zu hüten. Sie liebt FuÃbälle, die aber leider alle nie ihren spitzen und scharfen Zähnen standhalten. Das Problem ist hiermit umgangen und er lässt sich trotz relativ “dünner” Vollgummispeichen wunderbar kicken. Eignet sich auch prima als Zerr-Spieli, ist robust und bislang hab ich keine Angst, dass der Ball das nicht aushalten könnte. Dieser Ball ist zwar teuer, aber rechnet man zusammen, wieviele Bälle sie schon verschlissen hat, dann relativiert sich das wieder.Nachtrag: Erstaunlich oft wird der Geruch bemängelt. Und ja es stimmt, der Ball riecht vor allem anfangs und wenn er z.B. in der Sonne warm wird relativ stark. Aber das ist der ganz normale Naturgummi-Geruch. Jede medizinische Wärmflasche aus Gummi riecht genauso. Und nach einer Weile verliert sich der Geruch auch. Entscheidet man sich also für ein Produkt aus Vollgummi, dann muss man eben mit diesem Geruch rechnen. Gehört dazu, ist aber ungiftig.
