Toddler loves to build
My nearly 3 y/o received these as a Christmas gift. He loves to build and this is another outlet for that. He likes to point out the different colors and shapes. There is a shape sorter as a lid to the container – he likes to use that when putting the blocks away, which makes putting them away fun and occupies more of his brain power. It has been a great gift for him.

I love that the container is great for storage and has a shape sorter in the lid. I bought similar blocks for my granddaughters when they were very young. Now they are 6 and 8 and still play with them today!

Excellent Quality for Building Blocks!
I’ve bought a few wood building block sets, and sometimes they’re of flimsy-feeling quality.Not with this set! When I received it, I was surprised at how heavy the entire canister was. When I opened it, the blocks are separated by color in zip-lock plastic bags. Which is quite nice, actually!When you take the blocks out of the bags, you do notice and feel the very good quality of the wood. The pieces are solid and of a good weight. I doubt they’ll chip easily, like some other sets I’ve had.The canister is cardboard, and the top has cutouts for the shape of each block, which is a good teaching tool for little toddlers.If there’s any criticism, it’s what might be the odd choice of colors, but that is quite subjective.Additionally, the price is about twice that of another set I bought not too long ago, but I do feel that this one is of better quality. The blocks of this set do have more heft to them and the painted blocks have it applied quite well.If you have a child that likes to build things, this is a great set to have. I’m sure it will last a long time.
