We have a lot of natural and building toys but no gem blocks so I had to check these out– so happy with them!This set is incredibly well made and comes with so many pieces for the price, im genuinely so impressed. The gems are only visible on one side of the block, the other side is just a plain block. I love this feature because we can play memory matching games with them.They are also all well sanded, no rough edges or cracks, and no gems have become dislodged– just feels really well made.The only thing to flag is you essentially have to play tetris to get them back into the box squarely, but again that’s a sensory activity of its own.Overall really impressed/ happy with the value and highly recommend.

This set of jewel-rainbow blocks is absolutely fantastic! Not only is it gorgeous, it is incredibly well made.The jeweled pieces are inset into a deep hole within the thick wooden blocks. There are 16 rows (4 deep) of the single jewel blocks and 16 rows (4 deep) of the double jewel blocks.I am so impressed. The quality of the pieces is some of the best I’ve seen. Well sanded, smooth, and not one flaw. The box that holds the pieces is also thick and well made. You can even hear the quality of the wood when stacking them together.The are smooth but not slippery, so they stack easily and don’t slide around.You can only see the jewels from one side of the block, they do not go all the way through. This set hits a balance of being aesthetically pleasing and engaging without being over-the-top glittery and flashy.
