Catches fleas big and small!
These work really really well. My dog has black fur that just falls right back in place the moment you move it, and searching for fleas by hand was near impossible. We had a terrible flea season this year, and our poor girl was suffering. I bought two different flea combs, and while I personally liked the other one better (teeth on the other one seemed smoother against her skin, whereas these kind of irritated her), I love the size of these. Easy to slip in your pocket. I would comb for fleas while out on walks so if I didnât manage to kill them, at least they would be out of my house. You have to be pretty fast. The comb picks up even the tiniest of fleas, but once theyâre off the dog and on to the comb, they want to jump! When inside, we had a cup of soapy water next to us to quickly drown the buggers.

Great for checking the cats for fleas at home
Does home works great for checking our cats for fleas and addressing any problems if anything is found! We were able to find flea eggs on one of the cats before it became a bigger issue.

I purchased two of these. One for my dog and one for my cat.My cat is an indoor cat, but my dog went outside to use the restroom in our backyard and itâs El Niño season apparently, and the fleas and ticks are rated âhighâ in our area as of a month agoI purchased a different Fleek home where the prongs just werenât as perfect as these are.Excellent excellent value for the money, extremely sturdy, high-quality, the size fits perfectly in your hand, it does not pour like other flea combs do on the animals hair.The only thing that wouldâve been helpful to have come with. This would be a small little brush to help get the fleas out of the metal prongs. Since I did not have that, I did use a toothbrush to help me get them out. I then once I clean them, placed them in a plastic bag, and I set them out in the window sill so the hot Florida sun king kill anything left over that I might not have gotten, like a flea egg.Highly recommend. After reading all of the positive reviews and looking at everybody elseâs pictures, they were right on this one. The price was beyond reasonable for what I got. I did see one person say that the prongs on theirs broke.. Sometimes people break things to try and get a refund (because looking at the damage, one person posted, after having the item, I just donât see anywhere possible that a large section of prongs would just cleanly snap off in the method in which they were depicted.I absolutely love the handle, itâs ergonomic and fits in my hand, it gets around the dogs, ears, and all the nooks and crannies very easily.Iâm getting a little older and I really appreciate the handle because somethings cramp up my hands when I try to hold them for a longer period of time especially with a moving animal.. Definitely better than a handle on another product I bought.
