My Cats love it
My cats loved this. Itâs a great toy to keep them busy but doesnât hold up to their claws long. My cats had it ripped in less than an hour.

When I ordered this, I didn’t realize that it came with two, so that was a nice surprise. I was excited to get it set up for my Bailey.There are no instructions on how much to fill it up, so I just filled it until it felt like a waterbed for him. I’d say it’s close to 80% full. There are two valves: one on the edge for air and one larger one toward the center for water. I used a watering can with a long, narrow spout and tried to push out all the air before I closed it. It has several little foam pieces that float around for entertainment. However, if it’s used for a cat, I’d be afraid of claws poking a hole because it’s the same material as a pool float.We sit outside on the porch a lot, so I laid it on his cot with a cooling blanket on top of it because I’m not sure if the dog’s nails could puncture it.Between the cool water and the cooling blanket, he’s taken to it quickly, and I love to see him happy and healthy.This mat is 26″ Ã 20″, and for size reference, my Bailey is six pounds. I think $7.00 each is comparable to many inflatable toys out there, and I feel it’s a good product.

This is a set of two water play mats for cats from Nlaike. They arrived in perfect condition, factory sealed. Following the instructions on the product page, I got out one of the mats and blew up the outer rim, then filled the center portion about 1/3 to 1/2 with water. There are two separate valves, the water one is larger so it’s easy to fill. The outer rim, if you have a pump that will fill it I suggest you use that. I have to say, my cats are not the best and brightest, but they are at least somewhat interested. I think as more of them notice it, they will play with it more. They do walk on it with no issues. The back seems maybe not as thick as the clear front, but they shouldn’t really have contact with the back anyway. This mat does seem thick enough to withstand claws as long as they’re just walking or pouncing, and not actually scratching at it. I trimmed everybody’s nails before I put it out, and I trim them pretty regularly so I think we’ll be just fine with that. My cats are older (youngest is 2.5 years), but I am sure that this is a toy that younger cats, and especially kittens, would really love. Trim those kitten needle claws, but kittens would enjoy these mats.
