Didn’t hold-up- Update
Within the first 2 weeks, the rubber hand grips fell off. After 4 weeks of use, it broke. Device would not retract. Removed cover and found plastic piece that holds retraction had broke. Cheap plastic crap!Update- Within a few days of posting negative review, the company contacted me. They sent me a new leash the next day. The new leash works great. Rubber grips make holding leash comfortable and secure.

Update – the seller has done a great job of responding to my issue and I am very appreciative.I will buy this leash again and I recommend it! Just be careful with the latch.I really like this leash. It’s body is sturdy and the rope-like cord is strong.However, the latch to keep the leash from retracting or extending further) broke after only 4 months. My dog likes to run ahead and when I am working to control him, the latch is important.

Very Disappointing!!!
I didnât realize this was going to be so big or so heavy when I got it it itâs huge and very heavy!!!! I tried to return it, and Iâve never had any trouble before, but there was gonna be a restocking fee, and then I was going to have to pay for it to be shipped back!!! And then, when I went to ship it back, I couldnât do it so I called amazon and they said oh well you had until a certain day and I said nobody told me that. He said well this one time I will make an exception for you and then he said how do you want your small amount returned and I said oh it was a lot more than that and he said well thereâs a restocking fee and I said, so am I gonna get charged For shipping and handling too. I said they tried to do that a while ago and I was told that was not gonna happen so Iâm stuck with a two heavy two big leash that Iâm never gonna use because Iâm not returning it and only getting a fourth of my money back after I paid shipping and handling and restocking fees And everything else that they want to charge me just because I didnât return it by a certain date I was not told or made aware of!!!! I will never buy anything from this company ever again! I have a brand new leash that wasnât taken out of the box just to look at itâs still in the plastic and they wonât take it back. Very very very Disappointing!!!!

Love this leash!
I purchased this leash almost a year ago from my Pomeranian. I absolutely love it. Itâs held up very well, it works great, she gets a lot of freedom with a 26 feet, and I can get her attention with the locking mechanism so she doesnât run into roads, etc. We walk nearly every day and have never had a problem with this leash. The only problem Iâve had is with the poop bag holder. It was extremely hard to open the end to replace the bags. The cover flew off and under a cupboard that I cannot get to, so the poop bag holder is now worthless for me and it doesn’t appear that you can buy it separately, but oh well….

Not a solid design
I walk my dog everyday and was so excited about this combo!! But the leash dropped on our second walk and the bag dispenser popped right off. I super glued back on and then a week later the leash dropped again and the bag dispenser completely broke.

Great length, somewhat awkward locking mechanism
The locking mechanism was hard to get used to at first- and I didnât like it but got used to it. It is sturdy, we loved the length, and the leash glided in and out with ease (very impressive). However, it lasted less than a year, and I donât use it daily (My dog is more often off leash so it is only used a couple times per week, or at the beginning (first couple minutes) of a walk). It began to not retract after about 10 months of non-regular use. I donât know how that compares to other leashes of this kind – that might be average, especially given the long length.
