On my 2nd one now. 1st one lasted for about a year until it finally stopped retracting. Replacing once a year at this price point is a win for me. Iâve paid a lot more than this for other retractables that didnât even last a few months with my 70lb dog. Plus the extra length this leash gives you is great. Sometimes the lock hangs up but so do most retractables. Well worth the money!

Tough to Maneuver
Leash was a pain in the butt to lock and unlock. It would lock pretty easily but getting it unlocked was a pain. If it didn’t go perfectly straight back into the device, it would lock up. Then my 18 pound dog chewed on the leash for about 3 minutes and it broke apart. Cheaply made. Bought a heavier duty one for 5 dollars more and it’s way better.

Not strong
I read the product specs and I have a dog just under 100lbs the first use of the retractable leash he pulled and the (flat leash part) separated from the plastic of the component connected to the latch. So literally broke on first use. It was such a break that it looked cut. So, I wonder in the manufacturing process did a knife of some sort weakening the “tape like leash” as it was a perfect slice as if someone took a knife? Therefore, I felt the seller would question it. So simply ordered a similar product for a similar price point. I just don’t think this is assembled very well. That own a very weak small dog.

We can’t say enough good things about this leash. Very strong and durable. Our dog is a 60lb pittie mix, and she nearly pulls the arm out of my socket – not a problem for this leash which stays tight and locked no matter how long it’s extended. We used it for three months at beach, it got filthy with sand and salt water and never once ceased to function perfectly. Easy to lock and unlock, retracts reliably and very quickly, no matter how fast your dog returns to your side. Highly recommended.

Very happy with this retractable leash. It’s long enough for my dog to sniff around & enjoy her walks but i still have control. The only thing not perfect is that i’m having difficulty getting it to lock or release quickly. I have to fiddle with it to get it to do what I want.

J’ai un husky de 60 lbs et ça convient très bien. C’est une très bonne distance et la poignée est très légerte. Le seul point négatif que je peux penser est le fait que si on utilise la laisse lors de pluie ou autre, ça crée des mauvaises odeurs par la suite.
