Great for my Terrier mix!
My Terrier mix tends to have rather long hair sticking out of her paws, as well as a long beard. I loved that I could charge this trimmer the night before and with a few simple swaps, I was able to tackle the long paw hair, getting a pretty even result the first time. I also was able to address my dog’s nails and file them so that they are not super sharp right after cutting. Overall, this product is pretty great. I will definitely use it between groomer appointments to keep up on any unexpected hair or things that need immediate attention. Really happy with this product!

Good Set For The Price, Light Plastic, Handy Carry/Storage Bag A Bonus
These are decent enough clippers with a lot of attachments and convenient features. It’s light plastic, and I’m mildly concerned about the durability of the thin attachments. I’ll have to work hard not to drop it, because I’m a bit clumsy and I worry about the thinness.Otherwise, for only about $20 when I ordered, this seems a good value. I use this for my cats, since I’m without a dog at the moment — although most of my family members currently have dogs so this may be passed around quite a bit in minor fur-emergencies. :)I’ve trained my cats to get accustomed to loud buzzing noises and clippers, so this doesn’t frighten them in the least bit. However, I understand that most animals aren’t like that (especially cats), so the fact that this one is quieter than the standard clippers is a plus in general. I won’t be using the nail grinder on them since they’re used to me trimming their claws with human nail clippers, and that works very quickly with my cats. Maybe I’ll try the nail grinder on my husband! hahaI also like that this has a storage bag for all the parts and pieces, including the oil and brush and cord that come with it. I had to take it all out of the box to put it in the bag, which is fine with me. And coming from old school clippers, I just love that this is cordless and has a light.Overall, I’ll give this 4 stars, and if there are any issues or unexpected surprises with it, I’ll come back here to update my review.

By far, best for my cat’s matts
My semi-feral rescue cat has beautiful long fur â that matts horrifically because she wonât allow brushing. Periodically Angieâs matts need to be cut out â which is difficult and stressful for both of us. Utilizing this groomer was the easiest and best way Iâve ever been able to remove her matts. As is typical, Angie was paralyzed with fear â but it didnât seem much worse for her than when scissors and other tools are used. Because the process was completed in a fraction of the usual time when using this clipper it may have been less stressful for her overall, even though the trimmer vibrates and buzzes. While the sound is definite, it is relatively soft, and not nearly as loud as others Iâve encountered.By switching back and forth between the narrow and wide heads and being patient I was able to completely cut out the dense, dense matts behind Angie’s ears and below her neck. Switching trimmer heads is effortless; they remained securely attached. The rechargeable cordless design is a big plus because I can only work with her while in a highly awkward position. As far as I could tell Angie’s delicate skin was not cut even though the blades (with plastic guards) seem relatively sharp. Cutting through her solid matts is a true test!Included: instructional booklet with clear instructions. Three attachments to control length of hair clipped (I didnât need these). Tiny cleaning brush for blades. Charging cable. Small bottle of lubrication.This petite trimmer is invaluable for my catâs needs, and makes life far easier for both of us. Iâm so thankful and would order it again without hesitation.

I do not have a small dog, but I do have a large dog with large paws. I ordered this to cut the hair and matted hair out between her toe âbeans.â It worked great and was very quiet. I began with getting the matted hair out, and I wasnât worried at all about accidentally cutting her because it was so fine! I just pushed my finger against the mat and the clippers against the other side! It worked great. I didnât cut anyone, the dog did not get upset, and we had success! The clippers and attachments came nicely packaged, and the instructions were clear. I have not used any of the other attachments in the box except the fine clippers, but by looking, I see they will undoubtedly work just as well!
