Worked well
We just took these on a 2,500+ mile road trip, so I feel like I have a pretty good idea of how well they work.Each seatbelt can either go around the base of a headrest OR latch into the “clicker” receptacle of a seatbelt. We hooked one on each side of the van using one method on one side & the other method on the other side of the vehicle. I felt like the clicker method was more secure, however the headrest method kept her from being able to get up & walk around as much (which I preferred since she’s anxious in the car & pants in my ear non-stop…even though she loves car rides & doesn’t want to get out of the car when we get home!).This does not come with a harness, and in my opinion, it’s important to hook it to a harness & not the collar so it doesn’t strangle the dog if you have to slam on the brakes. We already had a harness for her, so we took that with us. Our harness has two places where a leash/seatbelt can be attached–near the neck or behind her shoulders. I preferred to have her hooked closer to her neck–again, because of her panting in my ear.I found it a little difficult to adjust & tighten the length of the seatbelt, but we were able to make them both work. I’d recommend these.

Super convenient
We have a dog “taco” in the backseat but the dogs still try to climb into the front seat on drives. These dog seat belts are the perfect solution.I like that this is a set of two (I was only expecting one). They can slip right over the headrest or clip into the seat belt if you prefer. The dogs like the bungee action as it gives them a sense of control, and I like that I don’t have to worry about grabbing a leash too. This is an all in one for quick trips. The water dish is an appreciated extra, those are always good to have on hand, as well as the poop bag dispenser.

Versatile harnesses
I have three dogs that I travel long distances with. I removed the middle seats from my van. The dogs get tethered to the floor brackets that the seats fit into. I particularly like these seat belts because I can quickly unbuckle the harness and remove the dogs from the car without having to find the leashes, unhook and then rehook the dogs. With these seat belts I can simply unbuckle the dog from the seat bracket and go.The quality of the seat belts and buckle are good. I like that the seat belt leashes have an elastic section with a bit of give to it.The dogs do each have a separate body harness that these seat belts attach to.The poo holder, bags and water dish are a plus.

Secures my husky in the jeep
I just got a rescue dog from Alaska that does not have much experience in cars. So I was worried about him jumping out of my jeep. So I was thinking that I would use two leases to secure him to the seat, one on each side of him. So far these harnesses have worked well keeping him in the car, and in the middle of the seat.I did ding the rating my one star since it says they are “retractable.” Not as I understand the word. More like “adjustable.” But that is OK for my purposes.Of course, I always appreciate a little extra such as the cup.

These are my dogs emergency crate leashes In case there’s an emergency where someone else needs to transport them. I like that they can be adjusted as handheld leashes or used as seatbelts! This makes their kit more inclusive while staying simple and easy to grab quickly.

Nice set
This is a nice travel set for your dog! The dog seatbelts have a couple options for usage as well as length adjustments and a bungee section to help absorb any impact. The bowl with clip is nice for ok the go.Overall this will come in handy and I’d order it again if needed!

Headrest attachment resolved problem
Had leash that just plugged into seat belt buckle but the way the dog bed and seat were configured the dogs kept stepping on the release button. Although these have the option to use the seat belt buckle, they can also be connected to the headrest instead. With that done the dog stays secured.The one thing that is a minor problem for me is the leash is a bit long (for my puggle), even when adjusted to the shortest length. It would probably be fine for a larger dog (or a larger vehicle).

Well-designed safety harness

The feature I like most about this product is that there are many ways to securely attach it to the car, so that it will work in most vehicles.I also like that there is firm elastic that will allow a dog to safely come to a stop in an emergency. Itâs a little heavy to use as an everyday leash, but if you are traveling, it’s nice to just have a single device that can be used in a pinch. I recommend this product and think that it will be a useful for a long time.
