Reliable
I recently purchased the Gauzi 4 in 1 Retractable Dog Leash for my friend Dave, who owns two French Bulldogs. He was looking for something that could handle both dogs simultaneously and make their daily walks easier. This leash has been a great find. The 16.4 ft length gives his dogs enough freedom to explore without Dave losing control. The retractable mechanism is smooth and reliable, ensuring he can easily manage the length as needed, which is particularly useful in busier areas or when other dogs are around. One of the standout features is the built-in LED light, which is incredibly helpful for evening walks. It ensures visibility and safety, allowing Dave to see the path ahead clearly and keep an eye on what the dogs are sniffing around.

Nice Idea
This leash is a bit bulky, but if you have larger dogs you might be used to that. It’s nice that the poop bag is ‘dangling’ there, and attached firmly. Although we did have an incident where the cap fell off and the bags fell out and needed to be rewrapped. Hopefully that’s not an ongoing issue. The light actually works ok, not amazing, but definitely enough to give you just enough light to see by at night (just as good as some LED flashlights we have, maybe their batteries are dying). But for an integrated light, I don’t think you can expect too much more unless you want an even bulkier leash. It is a larger leash, and I did not see a smaller option for smaller dogs (ours are about 25lbs), so it may be a one size fit all. It seems to lock and hold as expected, so performance is ok. Ours did come with poop bags in the holder already. Overall, if you’d like a leash and light in one, this one works. Otherwise if you have flashlights, it may not be worth spending extra to get it.

Perfect For Walks
Have you ever been out in the middle of the night walking your dog in the middle of winter and be fumbling over a flashlight, the leash, the poop bags? This leash is a great idea and executed perfectly.Built-in rechargeable flashlight. Not bright, but enough for motorists to see you and for you to spot where your dog pooped in the dark. The poop bag roll dispenser is durable and simple to load and use.The leash is even more durable and holds up to my dog who pulls with the strength of a horse. There have been no issues or damage done to this leash and it has been dropped and yanked out of our hands multiple times.

A little heavy/light is just moderately bright
In a world populated with LED headlamps that give drivers 50 mile views at night while blinding oncoming traffic, the light on this leash is almost dim. I don’t use a leash very often around my home but I do when I travel with my pup. The problem on these trips is when I take him out after dark to do his business. Cleaning up after him has always been a little difficult. The first couple of years, I’d use a flashlight but holding it and my dogs leash while trying to find his poop in the grass was a chore. I started using a headlamp a few years ago and that worked better but was still one more thing to remember when going on the walks. I thought this combo leash/light would be a good alternative and it may be but the brightness of the light has me a little doubtful. The leash is a bit heavier than the other retractable leashes I own but that’s probably due to the battery. The brake button works smoothly and, of course, you have the poop bag holder attached directly on the leash so there won’t be a problem finding a bag when the time comes. I was surprised when I first received the leash and went to plug it in to fully charge the battery. All these USB-charging devices come with cables but I usually just use a high-quality USB-C cable that I keep plugged into a wall adapter. To my surprise, the port on the leash is not USB-C. I thinks it’s a USB-Micro-B. I think I only have one other device (an old flashlight I rarely use) that uses that type of port so, TBH, it’s a bit a a negative feature.

All in One Dog Leash – For Medium to Large Dogs
We have a little dog that loves to chase squirrels. It’s a problem because she is small enough to fit through our fence. She sees a squirrel, and *poof* she is off to the races! As a result, we have to leash her every time we go outside. During the day it isn’t too big of a deal, but at night it becomes a bit of an ordeal. We have to leash this one dog, grab a flashlight, and then watch our other two dogs. This leash kind of solves the problem.Notes– I mentioned that it “kind of” solves our problem. The biggest issue is that it is a little too big and heavy for our little 10lb dog. She struggles to be able to pull against the leash *sigh* – It works, but I wish she was a little bigger or the leash was a little less stout.- The built-in flashlight is nice but somewhat limited. It does a good job of illuminating the area where it is pointed (usually right at the dog), but it isn’t much of a flashlight. It doesn’t really help me with our other dogs.- Has a spot to hold your little poop bags, which is always nice- Seems to be made of decent quality.
