Made of plastic
Ordered these to use for my dog’s collar, as I wanted something easy to remove but sturdy enough to survive daily puppy activities. As I was checking them to make sure they closed securely when released (they do not, you have to press them together to get them fully closed) I realized they felt flimsy. So I grabbed a magnet, and found they are almost entirely made of plastic. There is a super small pin in the center that holds the two sides of the clip together, and that pin happens to be metal, but absolutely no other part of this clip is. Will be returning.

Perfect size to hold dog’s tags
This is my 4th purchase looking for clips to allow my poodle’s tags to be moved from her collar to harness which we use at different times. These are the only clips that were an appropriate size and not to heavy for a poodle’s neck. So glad to find what we needed.

Dog tag clip
This clip is exactly what I wanted. I can change the dog tags easily from one collar to another. It is hard for me to use the clips (from my town) for the tag to register my dog. I purchased a few so I have been able to give a few to my friends. Will definitely purchase more when these are gone.
