Made our trip so much better!
Great buy we have 2 100lb dogs who in the past always could reach us in the front seat. The also would chew all others we have owned either in half or to the point of it being unusable. We traveled with these from South Texas to Colorado stopping several days and these work just super. The dogs lay down and rested more because they couldn’t get to us and the trip was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

This works well and is made strong. I would purchase it again. I have a strong dog and it keeps him controlled. He is terrified to ride in the car, so this has helped me a lot. Without it he wants to jump in the front seat. He is 60 pounds, all muscle and this controls him. I liked it so well I purchased two more for our truck.

Chew proof ð
My dog is a chewer! We tried just a normal fabric seat belt and she chewed right through it twice (we sewed it back together the first time). We found this seat belt and love it. There was some chew marks after our five hour car trip but she wasnât able to get through. And itâs long enough she had room to move, lay down and stand up. Definitely worth the money!

I purchased one for my 95 pound Doberman for when we go on , it keeps him in place. The good thing he canât chew it in pieces.

Good to an extent.
Overall it was pretty decent, but it didn’t hold up as nice as I would have liked it to. We have a 4 month old husky that’s a bit rambunctious. There’s a few times she’s tugged and it held on rather well. Our last card ride shengot too excited and pulled to get to the window and the end snapped right out of its fitting. Thankfully the door was shut and window up so she couldn’t get out.

good for small dogs maybe
I’m sure if it wasn’t for the fact I have a 60lb lab puppy, this would have been great. However, the first time I used it, the lab decided to come out of the car while still attached to the safety belt. Thankfully, no one was hurt but the safety belt broke where it loops so it can have the snap that attaches to the dog’s collar or harness. It would probably have held a smaller dog just fine but I do not suggest this for a larger dog.

Finally a calm ride
My family had a 6 hour drive for a camping trip. We decided to bring my new husky along. He isn’t the best in the car. He walks all over the backseat stepping on my daughter. Well this was a game changer. He was calmer. He would actually just lay down. It made the trip a lot easier and less stressful. It is long enough for him to turn around and lay down.

Second time NOT a charm!
Thought it was a good product but this is the second one I purchased that failed. The first one my dog chewed so I cut it some slack but this one just came loose when we went through a drive through for a pupcup and there was mild to moderate pulling. Totally wouldn’t have held in an accident – but better to find that out now. Wish they had the metal fastener on both ends!

I purchased this as another fabric safety belt leash I had purchased was eaten through in a matter of seconds after connecting it to my dog. Thankfully we were at home (before we had left the garage !!! ) otherwise she could have jumped out of the car when I thought she was secured to the seatbelt.She doesn’t even try to chew through this one and I’ve been using these for two dogs for weeks now. Very effective and gives me a sense of security knowing the dogs are secured in the back seat in case I had to stop quickly, etc.

Our labrador has a history of destroying furniture and clothing, and although her appetite has outgrown such items, she still is able to chew through a nylon webbing restraint in the car. She does not even try this restraint. It works. It came at a good price and quickly.
