Cat was instantly fascinated
The ball is very straightforward and easy to use. It has several modes so you can find the one most appropriate for your cat’s interest. It comes with a charging cord and doesn’t take super long to charge.I’ve tried a lot of interactive toys with my picky cat, including other types of balls with tails, all with mixed results. However, he took to this one right away. There’s something about the very long, thick, wiggly tail on this one that really makes him want to chase it. He’s been playing with it since it arrived here. I have already put a second one into my shopping cart so I can have one for play and one to charge.The only way this toy could be improved is to include a spare long tail, as I think my boy is going to have this one chewed up in no time.

Ollie likes it! Iâm pleasantly surprised (and mildly disappointed).
Ollie generally doesnât like electronic toys and tends to avoid electronics of any kind. He seems to like this one. It moves differently from how other electrified balls Iâve bought for him do but I think itâs the âtailâ that really captured his attention. He hasnât touched it yet but he watches it roll and chases it when it leaves the room.The disappointing thing is the battery life. On a full charge, it operated in âreactiveâ (yellow) mode for about 20 minutes. Seems like thereâs plenty of room in the casing for a bigger battery. Maybe Iâll swap one in when the original quits taking a charge.

The cord is already coming apart after 1 day
I was going to give this 4 stars because it does not do the things they claim. But when I picked it up to recharge it I noticed the cord had already started to come undone. And my cat doesn’t really chase it a lot and grab the tail that much. So if she did it would probably be worse. So I dropped off another star.They say if you don’t touch it for 5 minutes it will go into a standby mode and that it will do that on any of the 3 modes. Well, mine doesn’t, it just keeps going till the battery dies. It also says that the 3rd mode with the yellow light (mine is green) is interactive. That it will pause and will to again when your cat touches it. Again mine does not pause, it goes until it dies.Also if you have tile or wood floors, it will be very loud because it rotates on the plastic thing that holds the tail/cord, then bounces off the furniture and walls.While this is kind of a negative review, I did give it 3 stars because my cat likes to watch it. She will follow it around till the battery dies and then comes and pats me on the arm to let me know to charge it, even tho I have clearly heard the banging stop.

The BEST cat toy!!
We have tested out many cat toys, and this is without a doubt the most compelling for our cats. They like their chirping bird toys and feather mice, but this one captivates them.The toy rolls around in erratic movements, with unexpected turns and directions. The cats follow its movements but can’t anticipate where it will go next. They have not lost interest in this toy.The two features I appreciate are that it is rechargeable with an included USB-C cable, and that it just doesn’t get stuck under furniture or in corners. It darts under the dresser, then out, then back in and around, it made its way under my husband’s desk and then back again, it found the tiniest space between two cardboard boxes on the floor. So with this toy you won’t have to worry about getting on your hands and knees and digging out from underneath the TV stand. This is a great toy and well worth the price. It’s great for indoor cats. Ours are indoor/outdoor, but with all the snow they don’t want to go outside and they have a little bit of cabin fever. This is helped the youngest cat especially with burning off some excess energy. Highly recommended. Made in China.

i got this and turned it on and let it go it ran around for about 20 minutes and the battery died. i need to charge it, it’s cool. the cat didn’t run after it so i don’t know if they like it but it was running around on it’s own so the cats are probably thinking it’s weird

Functional toy – but a bit too aggressive for my cat.
While my cat loves playing with certain toys she is pretty picky. I had hoped she would like this interactive cat ball toy… but she didn’t know what to do with it. She watched it fly around but she did not engage. I think that’s because (while it has three settings), all of the modes seem a bit ‘aggressive’ for my cat. Since it might be hard to understand what I mean by ‘aggressive’ you should check out the video I have attached. The toy is a bit loud, goes pretty fast, and hits walls hard. The lights are also pretty bright (in the dark) – i.e., bright enough that my cat my be more disoriented / overwhelmed than intrigued by them.With that said, it’s easy to operate and charge and the silicon covering does make it soft – so if your cat likes toys that work like the one in the video, I would not hesitate to give it a try.

I think my kids love it more than the cat. Works really well, it moves around then stops then starts moving around again. It charges so no need to replace batteries.
