Neat!
My boy was nervous at first but now he loves this toy! Itâs hilarious watching him chase the butterfly. I love that there is a sensor so it stops when no one is around and starts up again when it senses movement. I like the fact that it uses batteries instead of having to charge it because ainât nobody got time for that! It is very quiet as well.

My cats go crazy for this toy!
My 2 girls love this! I work a lot and donât always have time to play, so I turn this on and I know they can play on and off all day since itâs motion sensing. It does make a little bit of a whirring sound when in use, but itâs really not bad! Iâve left the battery on quite a bit and itâs still going strong.

Foster favorite
I foster/volunteer for a local rescue and currently have 9 kittens varying from 6 weeks to 4 months old along with 3 very playful mama kitties. I wanted something fun and less likely to eventually end up lost under the fridge or some other furniture and this seemed like a great alternative. They all absolutely love this toy and play with it non-stop! It isn’t noisy like a lot of other battery powered toys so none of them are scared of it and the butterfly on the end of a wire is genius. The flapping of the wings is what really gets them going! It comes with an extra butterfly, but I have found it to be very durable with all the rough play and haven’t had to worry about changing it yet. I have only three cons and they really aren’t deal breakers:*The wire bends pretty easily with how often they try to carry away their “kill” dragging the base behind them which leads me to the next con..*The base is just not heavy enough to keep it from ending up on its side or upside down (or all the way in another room entirely!) with all the rough play and trying to show off their “kill” once they catch their prey.*This thing eats batteries like they’re going out of style. I will likely buy the USB rechargeable one next time. Overall, I do HIGHLY recommend this toy especially if you have multiple kittens that need some extra stimulation!

I watched videos and read reviews before I purchased this cat toy, and it didn’t seem as fast as mine. Seems like this thing is on turbo mode and spins so fast that my cat is scared to death of it (can’t blame her). Since there is only one setting, I’m hoping she will still play with it when it’s turned off.Overall, the design is nice and seems sturdy, but the speed is a problem.

My 11 yr old kitten loves this thing!! He had its predecessor but it got lost in a move. He got this for Christmas and he LOVES IT! He likes that this sits in one spot – he ignores toys that move across the floor. And the motion activation is awesome! In his opinion, I didnât remember to turn his last one on nearly enough. GET IT!!

If your cat loves butterfly toys, this should do the trick!
This toy is a great little device to add some motion into your cat’s independent play. I found that the motion detection was a little finicky, but with some adjustment of position and room lighting it was functional. Consider this or similar products if your cat needs some attention when you aren’t free to give it!

My Cat’s Love This Butterfly Toy! ð¦
I have 2 Inside Cat’s. My Boy “Chap” is 8 years old and My Female Cat “Bevany” is almost 1 Year. They have a Lot of Toys here. But I wanted to get them something Fun for them. As soon as I got it and turned it on, Chap went crazy over it! He does try to eat the Butterfly ð¦ But thank goodness they send you an extra one! So for the price and you get 2 Butterflies, it’s so worth it! I give this toy a 5 Star!Now the only thing I would love even more, is if there was a Timed Turn Off Sensor. Other than that it’s a Great Toy for my Cat’s! (Takes 3 AA Batteries)

I would prefer if this moved a little more slowly. My older cat is afraid of it. My younger one likes to atch it but she won’t touch it unless I turn it off.I would not buy it again.

Works a charm but sensor is only on one side so unless cat approaches from that side it doesn’t work

Much better than the original Flutterbug toy. This one turns off after 10 mins and has a motion sensor. My adult cats don’t care for it, but it always attracts my young foster kittens. They regularly play with it, because it’s quiet and the butterfly flutters randomly, so it looks realisitic.

Infortunately the wobbling wire just spins in a circle making the butterfly flutter as it goes. It would be nice if it could stop/pause and change direction. Having thought it would be another return – it turns out the cat loves it if I hold the unit and waving the flutterby around – so this is what we do. I was hoping for no effort entertainment (!) while I work – but he now sits next to the unit when turned off , looking hopeful for his next play session! And this is all he does now so itâs a keeper. He isnt at all interested until it flutters. Very realistic fluttering action looks just like a butterfly. Unit is a little bit noisy (so not silent) but ok. And thereâs a spare yellow butterfly+wire too. Although now one is on – I have no idea how to get that one off to be honest – as itâs firmly wedged on there.
