I use this to do my shih tzu’s. Works great. As on all, blades get hot and blade coolers don’t cool that much so buy multiples of blades. With this you can quickly change them out.

I was looking for a reasonably priced professional set of dog grooming clippers and did a lot of research. The motor speeds are very good. I know these aren’t the top of the line, but they are really a very good value in the A5 clipper category. The Wahl competition blades fit perfect and change out easily, so you don’t have to buy Andis-specific blades. The clippers arrived new and clean in a sealed bag…no worries about a returned/used set. The cord is very long, which I like. I am able to slice right through a matted curly coat with ease (Havanese – cotton texture hair). The only negative point is it’s weight; it is a little on the heavy side, but I’m ok with that personally. To me, it gives me confidence that it’s a good piece of equipment, not a plastic-y trinket with a toy-like feel. If you have a lower quality set of clippers and cannot slice through your dog’s coat with butter-like ease, try these. It comes with a 10 blade, but I changed it to a 7F competition blade and wow. My dog’s coat is even and feels velvety. It will reduce your stress and your dog’s stress as well, which is key for an excellent grooming experience (and affects future experiences, too). I am very satisfied with this purchase and hope you will be, too. All the best.

I did a ton of research and spent days going through specs of clippers and ultimately landed on this one, as it was the best deal for the price point and performance. I have 2 pups and do their haircuts at home and these clippers made the job so much easier and faster. I did also purchase a skip tooth blade to assist in the cuts and the detachable blade clip made it super simple to change out.The only con is that it is a heavier set of clippers, and being corded only drags it down a little more. This is totally fine for the average home groomer only spending an hour or two every few weeks, and this corded option is much less expensive than the other cordless ones.

Iâve only attempted to use these twice. I have two doodle with well maintained coats. Both occasions that Iâve tried to use these they get extremely hot to the point of burning myself and they randomly stop cutting. Itâll be fine one minute and the next itâll stop working so I take it all the way apart to try and resolve the issue. Clean it. Oil it. Put it back together. Nothing. Still gets hot and wonât cut. Such a waste of money.

Cette tondeuse est beaucoup moins bruyante que d’autre marques. Comme mon chien est réactif, c’est vraiment la tondeuse idéale.Je l’utilise sur mon caniche royal.Si vous vous lancer dans la tonte maison, sachez que vous devez laver et revitaliser, ensuite sècher au blower et brosser en même temps. Passer un peigne pour vous assurer qu’il n’y a aucun noeud. Vous verrez, la tondeuse va glisser comme un couteau dans le beurre !Je recommande fortement. Il m’a d’ailleurs été recommandé par une toiletteuse qui donne des formations à la maison.
