I love this style of brush and when I couldn’t find mine at home, I decided to order another. Works very well, and the coated ends make for a less scratched surface. The easy release to rid the brush of hair is great for quick clean up.

My two cats’ review of this brush
I can’t translate for them, obviously, and their review doesn’t come in ‘meow’ mode as much as it does for me to tell you I may have to buy a second one. The younger one (the daughter) loves this so much, from the moment I wake up in the morning until she goes to sleep, she’s following me with a clear message to let me know “Please? More brushing!!!” Her mother, the older one of course, seems to be jealous and lets the younger one know it’s her brush too.
I know that sounds funny, but I promise it’s true. The younger one is nearing her 4th birthday, and she had finally moved into heat some months before I got the brush. The brush actually helps her coat to shine and feel silkier, but it also calms her so she can relax and be quite content. Since the first day I started using it on her, she has purred her way from the first stroke to the last.
The younger one, born feral, and her mom moved in 4 years ago after the mother had been abandoned by her previous owner. Spunky, demanding, she let me know quite clearly how she expected things done around here. Since she ‘met’ the brush, she’s been in absolute bliss!
On my side, the brush is truly easy to clean, to handle and to use, and it’s manufactured in a way to let me know I don’t have to worry about brushing too hard. And the younger one is *so* into the brush, when she wants to concentrate on the head, she shows me by ‘smushing’ her head, the back of her head and both sides of her face onto the gentle bristles. From the first stroke to the last, her constant purr is pure joy to hear and reassures me that she really does enjoy it!
Btw, from *my* perspective, I’m especially impressed with the size of the brush head. It’s rectangular and at least twice as large as the old brush was, covering more room without being too large for the younger one. The size is perfect even for her little body, allowing me to brush one side completely with each stroke. In short, compared to several others I’ve tried, this one has them all beat!

Great brush for short hair cats
I love using the brush on my cats to reduce their shedding. It works really quickly, and itâs honestly gross how much hair this baby gets out! I find that my cats even enjoy getting brushed with it because the bristles are gentle but effective. I love that you can just press the button the remove the hair and do it all over again. One thing to be careful about it not pressing the button all the way, because the bristles can come lose and then they donât line up when you collapse the brush again. But this is easy to avoid and the brush works great otherwise. It is so affordable and works better on short haired animals than some other brushes do. One of my favorite pet purchases!

An easier way to groom
am happy that this brush made it quick and easy to brush my dogs and my cat. They all love the pins on this brush much better because the ends of the pins are coated, making it more comfortable when I brush them. It’s so much easier to clean this brush as I go rather than constantly stopping to pull the hair out of the brush. I can push it out with the button on the back. I don’t even have to stop brushing; I just push the button and out comes the hair I’ve removed.

Short lived brush
I really enjoyed this brush. It removed a lot of hair. Liked that the teeth could be pushed down for easy hair removal. Over time the retraction wouldn’t go all the way down as some of the metal teeth got out a line. Eventually the handle broke off the brush and I couldn’t screw it back on – filmsy plastic attachment. Look for a brush with a strong handle. This was my replacement as my first one was broke on arrival. Don’t recommend.

Amazing
Best brush I’ve used on my dog. It makes him super fluffy, and the little nibs on the end provide a bit more comfort then the version that you see without. The surface area is also really nice!
The cleaning mechanism is really great and easy to use, and doesn’t feel flimsy.
