I tried those mittens that you Velcro on to their hands but my small human when upset balls there hands into a fist making those difficult. This toy they can hold onto for dear life and aggressively put it into their mouth to settle them and it works. Their hands stay dry and it has different places for her to chew on. Love it. It’s easy to use just slide their hand in and they grab it hard. Started to use at 3 months when their hands became chew toys.
