Way better than the fabric ones
I had it for about a year. I had two fabric ones before. This is a good investment because it’s very durable, easy to clean, easy to use, easy to fold up a side for passenger, easy to see my dog. She is about 30 lbs and she walks in the back all the time to look out from the left or right or front windows. Great product!

Safe and easy travels for our dog.
It is easy to install and remove. It folds quickly and I can tuck it away in the tire well, ready for next time. Two sides – one for muddy dogs, one slightly softer. Our dog slid around on both surfaces, so we threw a piece of old carpet on top. It is quite stable when all the straps are in place. It fit our SUV from door to door and back to front with no gaps. This exceeded our expectations.

No More Dog in My Lap!
I have a miniature poodle who loves to be held on long trips. Itâs a lot. I found this product and thought it would provide a solid space for him to move around on trips safely, without being thrown into the foot well if hard braking. Also, I loved the netting that goes between the two front seats to discourage trips up front. This item was amazing. He loved it! He had room for his bed, room for his water bowl, and room to just lay on a blanket. I never had to worry about him falling off of the seat. I did need to put my purse on the console against the netting to discourage him trying to get through the netting, but that did work easily. As for easy, it was a snap to install. I think that once you have the length of the straps worked out for your particular seats it would be even easier to install a second time. As a bonus, mine came in a trim little zippered case. Fantastic purchase. Highly recommend.

Game changer
Love this product we have a German shepherd and this allows us to bring him with us anytime. Strong enough to allow him to move around during long car drives. Stores easily.

Not sturdy
This cover folds into thirds. The middle third doesnât have the rigid support. So the fabric dips exactly where our dogs land when they go from the front to the back seat, or where they jump from to go from the back to front seat. Itâs the most important spot to have support. Thatâs the only reason I didnât give 5 stars. Imagine rating a banana split that had no bananas.

Easy to install and strong
This allows my two dogs more room in rear seat and keeps them from getting into the front seats. It’s stong enough to support 150 pounds of dogs.

Not comfortable for my dog
Since half the seat extender is made of wood underneath the fabric and the other half is just fabric, when my dog lays across on it, the wooden edge pokes him and makes sleeping or sitting uncomfortable. It was too late to return it since I only realized this 30 days later (after I went to remove it to clean out my car and inspected its comfortableness more). That must have been why my dog was restless in the back seat the whole time was using it. I had to buy another seat extender that was hard all the way through and not just half way.Note: To make any seat extender more stable and sturdy (and so the dog’s legs don’t fall in any cracks if the extender bends from the dog’s weight or pouncing, I also use an “inflatable air mattress for a car back seat gap”. It inflates into just the area of the back seat where you extend your legs when sitting down.
