Very roomy and sturdy.
Although I have not had the need to use the carrier yet, I ordered it for my larger cat (12 pounds) and it’s plenty large enough for him.

The wheels were at first, tricky, but that is only because they were so very easy to attach. At first I was attempting to attach them the wrong way. They just ‘snap” into place once you align them to the wheel base.UPDATE: This was the maiden voyage for my puppies and their new crates. I was disappointed that the crates did not fit under the seat in front of me as advertised. In fact, they were not even half way under, making it difficult for me to feel comfortable on my seat, but more importantly, the pups were squeezed. Extremely Disappointed!
