It’s easy to use just follow these simple suggestions!
This is my SECOND Pedipaw in 12 years! They work great. However people make these errors time after time. 1. Do NOT just hold it against the nail, it will catch and stop. This is a SAFETY FEATURE so you don’t grind off too much in a few seconds. 2. It requires a “light touch” rocking the unit back and forth in a semi circular motion. Two seconds up, two down and it smooths the mail upper and lower by doing this. 3. Relax. If your dog senses you are nervous, it will be nervous.You do not have to take weeks rubbing it/running it anywhere. I ordered a new one for today, and used it on TWO 5 month old puppies that never saw it before. Use treats to praise and distract. Remember, do NOT just hold it against the nail, rock it back and forth. THAT’S IT.

Cheap made for TV junk
My dog hated it and it didn’t do much to her nails. Tried it on one of my nails with the guard removed and it was very uncomfortable due to the cylinder being a bit out of round even with my nail at multiple angles. I know why she didn’t like it.A total junk “as seen on TV” product. Save your money and don’t buy this.

Good product, it takes c batteries by the way.
The product is what it said to be, it was about mid range for loudness, gets a lot louder when nail touches it. The sound and feel of the product was to much in the end and our pet had a heart attack and passed away. In no way am I blaming it on the product, our pet was just super sensitive and we were unaware that this would have trigger such a tragic result. Thank you anyways

Have a big dog, but still doesn’t work with him
Only thing they won’t tell you in the description is how cheaply made the thing is, and does not come with C batteries, took me forever to find them because the thing is so freaking huge. So I wouldn’t recommend if you have a small dog or cat, I mean literally the size length of my forearm, huge! I’m not a big fan because of how cheaply made it is, I can already tell this isn’t going to last long. :/ I also have 2 big dogs and the cheap paper it came with to grind the nails doesn’t even grind them at all. I would have been better off going to lowes to buy sand paper because thats all this is, the thing just spins it but still doesn’t work with my dogs nails! Ugh.

Most important to me was that this item do the job. I’m a disabled senior who now has difficulty bending a lot, so I do not use this item for the use depicted ( ie : trimming pets nails ). In stead, I use it to trim my own toenails. As often happens with age, the toenails become harder, and are therefore harder to trim using clippers, even if you can bend enough to do them that way. With the Pedi Paws, I don’t have to bend as far, and instead of struggling with nail clippers, I let the dremel ‘ type head of the Pedi Paws unit do the work. Of course, you have to be careful as the dremel head is capable ofcausing some damage you don’t want, but I have found, as long as I’m careful, and do a little at a time, monitoring the progress as I go, this product is definately the best solution to toe nail clippling for older /disabled adults.

This product would take you hours to do your pets nails. Barely anything comes off the nail when you apply it to your dog’s nails. And very few dogs would be so patient to sit there for hours while you use this thing on their nails. Don’t waste your money.
