This is an insert for one of the ball chase scratching toys. They had scratched the original cardboard scratch pad that came with the toy, and these were an economical replacement. My cats love to use that toy have been very entertaining and stable so it doesn’t tip over. The replacement pads seem to be a good build quality.

The product appears to be very well built, and it has instructions for replacement of the scratcher unit and the balls, and even includes extra felt feet for the bottom. The scratcher unit is not real big, but the refills are inexpensive.
