I have used plastic bottles for the longest time and was looking for a replacement as I am trying to get away from using plastic for drinking, storage, etc.I have mainly used these for my cold drinks for work or at home. I like to freeze my flavored water, letting it melt throughout the day / night, adding water as it melts. While these take longer to freeze then plastic bottles I have used, when it freezes, the ice form inside these lasts all day / night. So it holds true that cold drinks stay cold for over 12 hours. To me that means, its well insulated, in my opinion at least.I have not used them for hot drinks yet, just for frozen flavored water drink to this point.Also, there is no condensation on the outside like with plastic bottles where I would wrap the plastic bottle in paper towels or a cloth cus of the sweat on the outside. I dont have to wrap these as there is no condensation on the outside of the bottles.The material used on the outside of the bottle almost seems scratch resistance. I say this cus I have to lay them on the side in the freezer to get the water inside to freeze and just wiping the outside removes any markings that may occur.Ive been looking for awhile for a steel bottle I can use and get rid of the plastic ones. I was skeptical to find something that would be of good quality, but I am glad I found these as they seem to be providing what I need based on the quality of the product. Worth the buy.

Bottle mouth is too small for most average sized ice cubes.
I received my order two days ago, and I am happy with it. The bottle has a sleek design that fits my hand much better than most of the others I’ve owned. I was disappointed by the size of the bottle opening. It is about an inch and a half wide and I will have to buy a smaller bottle brush to clean it properly. I also couldn’t get my smaller ice cubes to fit the narrow opening, so I crushed some ice in the blender. The great news is that the ice stayed frozen for at least ten hours. Today, I didn’t feel like chopping ice, so I added some very cold water from my fridge to the bottle, and 6 hours later, it was still cold. If it’s possible to redesign this with a wider mouth, it would be perfect for me. However, if you have a crushed ice option on your fridge or an icemaker with small pellet ice, you should have no problems loading it with ice and enjoying a very cold beverage for several hours. Though, so far, the water in the bottle is still cold, even without any ice. I wrote this review so anyone who must have a wide-mouth bottle understands this particular style may not fit your needs. However, if the narrow opening isn’t a deal breaker, this is quite a good bottle that delivers on the promise to keep beverages cold for a reasonable price.

Well made
Bought this for my child who frequently loses her water bottles. It was inexpensive enough that I wasn’t worried too much about her losing it. For the price it’s really well made and washes well in the dishwasher. The size is perfect and we love the colors.

mold smell
i wont recommend, it started smelling like mold only after several days of use. And I have only filled it with water. Additionally it is quite heavy, the empty bottle
