Great Tag
We have gone through several of the traditional style dog tags, as the thin metal always wears out from rubbing against the ring of the collar and they fall off and get lost. This tag has attached firmly to the collar, seems to be comfortable for the dog, doesnât make a clinking noise and has enough space to fit all the information I wanted on it. We honestly havenât had it all that long (maybe a month) but it seems really secure and we are happy with it. It was easy to put on (I did make sure to measure the dogâs collar before I ordered) and easy to read.

After the first tag that I ordered came out so well, I ordered a second one for our other dog. These look great and are very sturdy. They stay on the collars really well and the dogs do not notice the tags. With two really active dogs, they have never budged from the collar. You do need to make sure that you order the right size. Delivery was pretty quick, especially for custom made items.

What I love:- These tags are super sturdy, but still easy to put on and remove.- They’re one solid piece, so no chance of them getting loose over time like ones that attach with rubber/silicone rings.- The engraving is deep so it won’t wear off – and it’s readable!- There was enough room for me to include names, phone numbers and their microchip numbers, and unlike some other tags, you can use punctuation!My dog chewed up her hanging name tag and microchip tag the first day I put them on her. This one securely grips her collar so she can’t reach it to chew it off – and there’s no annoying jingling! (Can you imagine having something jingle-jangling ALL DAY LONG right under your chin? It would drive me crazy too!)I bought one for each of my dogs and they are great. What a value for peace of mind that their tags won’t fall off (or get chewed off)!

Great tags. I was buying boomerang tags before Amazon. Yes, these special tags donât come off the collar. Ever. Very legible and they stay in place if your collar is really 1â wide. Might be difficult to push them through the tag, but it will stay where you put it. When my wandering Labrador got loose I quickly recovered him due to these tags.

I dont write many reviews but really like this tag… Though you can do more I went with a simple two line ‘name/phone’ option (turned out great). Will definitely last a lifetime as its actually engraved into the metal much deeper than others. I got the one with open ends and it looks/works great on multiple 1in collars. Picture is on a rubber 1in collar that I slid on but on another thick heavy duty fabric one (without an open end) requires some finagling to get it on (I consider this a positive as I know it wont fall off or slide all over). I can imagine that it might not work on some extra stiff or thick collars (though my other is quite heavy duty tactical type with a cobra buckle etc. and though tough to get on still works) but they do have other options and I would say that this should work well on the vast majority of 1in collars. Also arrived to me quite fast with a nice little touch on the address (something like ‘Frances new tag’) with a nice letter. Which seems like a nice small business that takes pride in their product and cares. Go for it.. a HUGE improvement over what you get from pet stores etc. Also looks great and really nice to not have dangling/noisy tags.

Bought the 1 inch 2ply and it fit the collar perfectly. Not sure if it’s clear in the pictures but the collar I have is 2ply nylon webbing with another 3rd ply of soft foam type material. The tag does slide around when it’s on the part of the collar without the 3rd ply. If it was on a collar that allowed it to slide a bit I am fairly confident that I could bend the tabs very slightly to tighten it up. It does seem well made and I expect it to last for a very long time. The engraving is clear but can be difficult to read in certain lighting. Thinking of filling in the engraving with paint to see if it makes it stand out more. For anyone that thinks I put the tag on upside down, it was done intentionally. This way the tag can be read when the dog is greeting a person instead of trying to get behind the dog to read it.Overall I am pleased with this tag. Would purchase again for other pets.
