Love the functionality, one small downside
**update** after months and months of use, the spewing issue seems to have resolved itself and I love these little covers. I up it from 4 to 5 stars.Love the convenience of these lids, especially for my bigger girl that has more spills than my toddler. However, like I had read in the reviews, if you press on the top of the lid, due to the pressure, liquid comes spewing out like Old Faithful lol. It has a small vent area to prevent that from happening, but it doesnât work well at all, not even after I poked something trough it to make sure it was open. Other than that, I have no more complaints and would purchase it again if I didn’t have them already. The durability is great so far as well.

Helped my kid learn how to drink from a straw
I donât think the product is marketed for this purpose, but this helped my baby learn how to drink from a straw. Water gets pushed out of the straw when you push down on the lid, so baby has to learn to form a seal around the straw to keep water in his mouth. Probably not ideal to have water leak from the straw if your kid already knows how to drink from one but working well for me right now.

Love the product-have a suggestion
This is perfect for a baby/toddler who is ready (thinks theyâre ready) for a cup, and for parents who know better. The lids are smaller, even though theyâre stretchy, and will only fit on a kids size or plastic cup. The straws are also short (not not so short that i worry about my baby swallowing or chocking on it), which is great, but is another reason you will want to use on a shallow and small cup, as the straw will not reach far) They have the potential to be way more hygenic than the plastic baby cups with lids that have a rubber nozzle/nipple, bc you dont need to take the cup apart to wash. And admittedly, there have been more than a cup-ple (heehee) times that i have had to either scrub or throw away our baby cups due to forgetting to separate the rubber nipple part from the plastic lid while washing which has resulted in build up underneath where the rubber meets the plastic. This solution has solved that issue for me. It also performs as promised being nearly leak proof (i give 5 stars here anyway bc kids are very inventinve and will still find a way, but the mess is minimal to none). The grip is very strong and tight around the cup. No way my baby can get it off. It can be a struggle to put the lid on a very full cup for this reason. You have to reaaaallly stretch and pull, but for good reason. Also, itâs a simple solution to throw in the diaper bag to have available at a restaurant etc without having to pack a cup that i just know is gonna leak all over the place (you know this happens to you too, despite how tight you twisted that sucker on)The one thing i would love to see, that could be adapted on the straw or included as a separate piece, would be a mechanism to keep the straw in the cup and in place, like how some of the childrensâ toothbrushes have a ring around it to prevent it from gagging or chocking them. This would eliminate one of the leak/spill possibilities by making it harder to expose the hole where the straw fits in as well as aid our toddlers who are still learning in keeping the straw in the liquid instead of pulling it up too high and sucking in air (and playing with it) as my baby does. All in all though, i really like this product and only wish it came with more. I will likely buy again

Too much Vaccuume
These are difficult to get onto glasses and create such a suction that they are difficult to use. I found myself covered in whatever was in the glass most of the time.

Fits standard mason jar
First day using it. Firs standard mason jar. Great for my 3yr old. Note the straw it comes with is to short for a full size mason jar so I just used a metal one we had.

Cool concept but doesn’t work
Thought I’d get this for my toddler. Unfortunately, the lids are extremely difficult to get on and once on, if you press the top at all then the liquid comes shooting out of the straw! And you can bet a toddler is going to love that!

Go to plastic cup alternative for toddler! Pairs perfectly with stainless tumbler.
Was looking for a replacement to the all plastic cup situation for my toddler. These lids are the best! We got the green/blue lids. They are super thick and pretty easy to put on if you are decently coordinated. Even my mom, who is NOT coordinated at all, got the hang of them after a few tries. They donât spill or leak. We also got little insulated stainless tumblers with a little lip on the outside so they sit perfectly on those cups and the straw sticks out about halfway. The straw itself is nice and thick plastic, wish it was silicons. But I just ordered standard size silicone straws for our house and cut a few of them in half for the little one. They fit perfectly in the lid. And now no risk of stabbing the back/top of their palette with the straw, like I did as a child and will forever be traumatized by. Holding back from buying more but all her friends want their own special cup/lid when they come over!
