Product Description
Direction for Use 
Step 1
Use a permanent marker to fill in the name, date, time, and volume of breast milk on the designated area of the bag.
Step 2
Open the bag by tearing away the safety seal at the top.
Step 3
Place your thumbs inside the plastic above the zipper and gently pull both sides apart to fully open the bag.
Step 4
Form a cuff, pour milk, avoid exceeding 6oz (180ml). Bag flares as filled. For accurate measure, squeeze to extend bag bottom.
Step 5
Press bag against table, start at milk-air boundary, slide down to expel air. Seal for proper storage.
Step 6
Freeze milk bags promptly. Store in fridge’s coldest part, back shelf above veggies. Don’t keep it in the fridge door.
Step 7
Defrost milk in the refrigerator, simply remove the container of milk from the freezer and place it in the fridge until the milk has become liquid.
Step 8
After thawing, the mik can be heated to around 40°C (104°F)by placing it in warm water or a milk warmer.

These are very sturdy and they are nice thick bags. I prefer these over any other brand (I have used all the ones I can buy at the store and they all leak and are thin). Also I love that I can warm it in the bag and then cut it open at the pour spout. Makes it so easy… 100% recommend.

Easy to use, 8oz
Hello friends, I selected this set of breast milk storage bags for a mother.These breast milk bags are very nice. They are made of a good quality plastic. Unfortunately they are not microwavable so they need to be heated using a bottle warmer. They are color coded to let you know what the temperature is. Purple is cold, Blue is good, and white is too hot. They are filled from the top and then closed with a Ziploc top. There is a little perforated spout on the side that you can tear and then pour your milk into or you can cut it with a scissor. I would not call these bags reusable as there are little nooks and crannies inside the package itself and you wouldn’t want to contaminate your milk. There is a little area to label the milk with a name, capacity date and time. I really liked it. These are the 8 oz bags. I think the 6 oz were too small. Even if you only intend to have 6 oz, I suggest the 8 oz bags so that you don’t have issues using the bag near capacity. If you know that you have a career mom who plans to pump, this is a good gift for them.

Hard to use and had a leak
I test bags with colored water before trusting them with my milk.These did not pass the test! First, they are harder to use than most bags. The bottoms do not pop open on their own, even if you pour in a full 8oz of water. Which doesn’t fit without the bottom gusset popped open…. Not only do they not pop open on their own, they are a very big pain to get to open up manually.The bags are relatively stiff, the top opening isn’t real wide, so they aren’t the easiest to pour into.The measurements on the side are wildly inaccurate– but this is true of most milk storage bags.The seals, like the rest of the bag, are stiff, but they do function ok.The deal breaker though, is that they leak. I had about 1 out of every 4 bags with minor leaks, almost always around the seal.The tear and pour spout does not work well. It tears off mostly ok, but it’s anybody’s guess which way the liquid will pour out, and it tends to make a big mess. I could not get consistent, clean pours even after several attempts.Bottom line: I would not recommend these bags for anything you value, especially not breast milk.
