    Works great
Definitely recommend if you have a flea problem. It’s a bit expensive but gets the job done. Adopted two cats from local pound and gave them this and bath and killed all the fleas. No issues giving it to them and no problems after.

Cat outside, no fleas in or out!
Well, while we can’t keep our 1 and half year old cat inside at this stage, 100% of the time, we had to let him have outside time. Of course, when he came into the house, we saw fleas, or if we combed him outside. It was scary to see so many and with our other cat, he didn’t have that issue and with having cats throughout my life, I guessed that some cats are more likeable to fleas, like some people are more liked by mosquitoes. What was great, with Capstar, was in giving our cat a tablet daily, was that soon, the fleas were gone. It took our cat about two weeks, with daily use.The proof was combing and/or brushing our cat. We could see that the fur didn’t have fleas or the excrement. We also didn’t see the fleas on the bed, carpet, furniture, etc. While it’s a little concerning to give him a tablet lie this, for me, it’s easier than topical. Naturally, I was worried about giving him this tablet daily, since I wasn’t sure how he would react. Initially, he did have a stomach reaction, and started eating grass or tall weeds, right after taking it, though after about a week, he was ok. These days, after longer use, does not have that issue.I do a small modification, though, to give it to him.I don’t put it as a tablet in his throat. I just ‘grind the tablet’ so it’s a powder, then mix it with his favorite liquid cat treat. It mixes with it well. The only time he wouldn’t eat it was when it wasn’t mixed well.(To explain on topicals, while our cat is extremely fastidious, he is constantly getting into shrubs, etc., so a topical isn’t ideal for him. Kudos to those where that works! So…Capstar pills are easy to deal with. They are fairly thin and small, maybe like the size if a thick shirt button. Each pill is individual in a foil, easy to tear off.To grind it to powder, you can use a can or something like it, to get the powder effect. It takes just a little bit of hitting it in the indiviualpill package, in the foil, then open the pill pocket by popping it and put it in the cat dish. It may be in one spot, so mixing it helps. This worked and is wonderful as we love having our cat inside when he needs to be, and allowing him outside, as he has to have his time being in the sun and visiting other outside cats.It also helps, so you aren’t worried about fleas being everywhere in the house. For improvements to the manufacturer, make the product 7 tabs instead of 6, please, and for the larger quantities. Also, find ways to give deals in some way. I know you have a captive audience, though sending some deal is important and appropriate, please.I would say that this, overall, has been helpful for having a cat who seems to be a flea attractor when he is outside and he needs to have his cat roaming, so this is a worthy product to try. His appetite is still great and no side effects after the initial week approx.

    Quick temporary flea relief
My family used this on our cats, we have had a long battle with fleas. This product is quick to work to give the cats a chance to relax so they can be brushed. As I have 2 cats the double pack was ideal because it was basically a pack for each cat.We have gotten the Amazon brand as well and see no difference in performance.

My cats acted a little funny when the medicine was kicking in.
It is very effective. My cats never go outside however my home ended up infested and they was getting sick. 1 dose of this product and within minutes the fleas was dropping off. Due to how bad it was and flea larvae I did another treatment a week later. I have not had an issue since.

Disturbing adverse reaction in 1 of our 3 cats.
Our three cats have had fleas for a while. Attempts to rid them of fleas have not been effective. Twice daily fine toothed combings have collecting disturbing amounts of fleas. Topical treatments between the shoulder blades were also not as effective as we had hoped. With no adverse reactions appearing in any of the reviews, as well as, the advertisers claim that this treatment was safe for kittens- I purchased these tablets. Prior to administering the tablets we read the instructions on the outside of the box. (See image) About fifteen minutes after administering one tablet to each of our three cats- as if the fleas were attacking each cat at once- each cat began scratching and biting and licking at different parts of their bodies. This went on for quite a while. Then, one of our cats, our “Ragdoll, had an adverse reaction. He began to run around the apartment, to vocalize, to salivate, to have an increased heart rate, to tremble, to pant, to have difficulty breathing, & to salivate. It was disturbing to witness. I dialed the tn on the packaging, and surprisingly/thankfully we spoke to a representative by the name of Oz, she was calm, helpful, reassuring- wonderful- us? Not so much. After a few hours, as Oz, had advised, their symptoms diminished, and overnight all three appear to be back to normal. FYI, this morning, unbeknownst to us, yesterday, we discovered that there was an additional information sheet, literally, stuck to the inside of the box. And, lo and behold, there is an adverse reaction warning. (It does appear that the product worked effectively; however, according to the adverse reaction warning- have that cat carrier ready in case an emergency vet visit becomes necessary. Thanks, again Oz !Addendum: The next day, Thurs. Mar. 28, 2024, right as I was finishing up this review, I received a call from Lindsay, another representative from Capstar, she was following up to verify whether or not our cats were ok- they were, and are. Thanks, again Lindsay !
