A great tool!
I’m absolutely pleased with this pet nail grinder. My dogs hate to have their nails clipped. So, even though they may jerk back a bit this won’t hurt them! It was quiet, easy to use and pretty powerful. It didn’t scare them as much as clippers do. I’m very pleased with the quality and the price!

The Best on the Market
We have a Border Collie Weimaraner mix currently 8 months old and a a 1 year old cat. I bought this unit after out last one fell apart only after a handful of uses. This on the other hand is a powerhouse and makes quick work of both dog nails and cats, I love it, I’ve suggested it to several friends and to our trainer and groomers.Construction: this unit is SOLID, it’s really built to last and nothing on here feels cheap or fragile.Functionality: with 6 speeds (which was why I bought it) it will make quick work of grinding down the nails of even the thickest nails.Practical use: For our cat Frida I set the power to 3 or 4 the very first time OR if I let her nails get long. For people who are uncertain how to use the more profesional units I would suggest starting on setting 1 or 2 until you get used to it. Frida’s nails being much smaller don’t need anything over a 4, and at that speed the grinder makes quick work of all her nails (I only do the front).Bentley our puppy on the other hadn has much thicker nails. I set the speed to a 5 for his black nails and a 6 for the clear nails. I like to take my time on the dark nails as it’s a bit of a guessing game where the vein actually starts.Both our cat and dog are used to having their feet touched and for a grinder this unti is pretty quiet given the power. Frida is a little more fussy than Bentley but she’ll put up with me grinding down her nails with little fuss. Bentley acts like he’s at the spa and puts up no resistance whatsoever and rather enjoys the whole process.For the price this is really the best pet nail grinder ont he market and I am really happy I bought it.

Good product
I had used a Dremel for years and was looking for something that was quieter. This is definitely the most quiet nail grinder I have used. I I’m a pet sitter and one of the services I offer is nail trims. I have used this quite a bit since I’ve gotten it and the dogs have all done really well with it. It doesn’t get the nail is hot as the Dremel. The dust is a crazy amount though. Also it does take longer than the Dremel brand.Overall I think it is a great product for home use. If you are doing mini nail trims I would recommend a stronger Dremel.

Would be EXCELLENT for small to medium sized dogs or cats
The grinder is substantial, yet easy to hold and maneuver.It is very easy to clean.It is very quiet.It is very easy to use.If this were made for 150 pound Newfoundland’s with extremely thick, dense nails I would purchase two.The description clearly states this grinder is not meant for my giant girls. The price and description were excellent so I purchased one anyway.I had a very long, detached Newfoundland nail that allowed me to practice. My 13 year old was close to me as I practiced and was not at all concerned by the noise or the grinding. The lights on the grinder are helpful. Of course, with dense black nails you will not see the vein, so grinding less will be best. The grinder would have been perfect for the size of dog the use is listed for in the description. It was unable to do much with this extremely thick nail. However, if it were a larger grinder with a stronger motor, this would work a treat.James Brown, founder of Casfuy, emailed me through Amazon to check for satisfaction. The fact that the grinder didn’t work for me is not the fault of the machine. I knew it would be a stretch but had to try. It is a wonderful tool. I’m keeping it just in case we ever have a small dog.

It really works!
I purchased this because I noticed my 14 year old dogs dew claw was growing back into her paw. It took both my husband I for the job. It worked better than I thought it would. It was quiet but powerful enough to safely grind down the nails. The guard made it easy and she feels so much better. It’s definitely a good value for the price and it is well made and easy to clean.

The grinder worked well on my small dog, but it felt like it took too long to file the nails down. Perhaps thatâs for safety reasons. I couldnât get my large dog to sit still, and when I tried it on my medium dog, I also felt it took too long for minimal results. If it were faster, I think I could get through the medium dogâs nails much more efficiently. One downside is that it didnât come with any attachments, which was disappointing. As Iâm not sure where to get extra grinder pieces for this.Overall, Iâm not unhappy with the purchase. Pros: I like the built-in light, and while not perfect, it allowed me to trim my small dogâs black nails without fear of cutting too far.

A God-send!
I have two Jack Russell terriers that hate getting their nails cut. On one of them I always had to put a cone on her head because she would get so upset. It literally would take over an hour for each dog to get their nails cut. It was that traumatic for them. I can honestly say that this is the best thing I couldâve gotten for them. Now they are both relaxed when they get their nails done with this device. No more worrying about cutting their nails too short and having them bleed and being in pain. It literally changed a miserable experience into one that is peaceful for myself and my two dogs. I love the instructions that are provided in the box. It helped them to become relaxed with the quiet sound of the device. Now they both literally lay back as if they are at a dog spa. I highly recommend this tool.

First it is very safe to use on my dog nail that are long and curved under. Love the led light it showed exactly where was the nerve. My dog (highland westies) has a combination of light and dark nails.I was able to grind at a fast speed even at the lowest speed. I only used the black top since the clear top was for smaller nails. I was able to do all his nails, extremely long and the batteries was still giving me full speed. It also charges rather fast. Overall this is my 4th make for nail grinders and is the best I have owned, I would recommand it to all who needs one. For the price, it is worth it. It is very light in the hand and so easy to manipulate in various angles. My dog loved it, he layer down on his back relaxing as if he was in a spa.I’ll keep using it and see how the battery last over time and the diamond bit.
