Effective 2-Speed : By summarizing the previous experiences, the 2 grinding speed of the latest version has been raised to 8000rpm and 10000rpm. It’s great to trim both white and dark nails. And the new grinder still uses diamond bit wheel, delivers the most comfortable pet claws grinding.
Safer 2 LED Lights Design: Casfuy electric dog nail trimmer has 2 LED lights. It allows you to see the dog nail area easier, preventing you from over-grinding. Dual LED lights is a new design. Lights shine more accurately than other ordinary LED grinders, making grinding safer and more precise.
Super Low Noise & Vibration: Many pets get stressed by the sound and vibration of pet nail grinder. However, our electric pet nail grinder uses a superior motor with whisper-quiet technology that produces a very low vibration to keep pets calm and help sand pets claws faster and easier.

So glad I replaced my old nail grinder with this unit!!
My old nail grinder was a Pedi-Paw that used a rough sandpaper grinding surface and a very weak motor that ate ‘C’ cell batteries. I have a medium size dog (43 lbs., 6 years old) who I have ground her nail weekly for her entire life, so she is used to having her nails ground. This Casfuy Dog Nail Grinder has just been such a technological leap for both of us. The unit will run for roughly 3 hours per charge, but it only takes me 5-8 minutes to grind her nails, so I will only have to charge twice a year. The grinding wheel is permanent diamond cutting surface which works very quickly and the LED lights really help you to see what you are doing. The motor is not that loud and the diamond grinding surface is so efficient, I only grind on the lower motor speed. The removable cover (turns counter-clockwise) has two guides that allow grinding either holding the unit with the grinding wheel down at a 45 degree angle to your dogs nail OR the grinding wheel facing upwards, again grinding the nail at a 45 degree angle. The ‘dust’ from the nail being ground does go airborne, so you may want to grind outdoors and/or wear a mask if sensitive. The unit does need cleaning after use to remove the nail ‘dust’ from the grinding wheel. I remove the top (counter-clockwise) and rinse it under water, then use a damp paper towel to pat the grinding wheel clean (unit is NOT running). The manufacturers also suggest using an eraser to clean the grinding wheel, but I did not have one laying around.IMPORTANT NOTE FOR GRINDING: If you have not ground your dogs nails before, remember to go slowly and touch the grinding wheel to the dogs nail for 1-2 seconds then remove it for 1-2 seconds, repeat. This prevents heat from building up and hurting your dog. Keep the grinder at a 45 degree to the nail (see the illustration in the unit manual) and look often at the part of the nail you are grinding to make sure you have not ground too deeply. This grinder removes a lot of nail quickly! If their nails are long, you should take several days (up to weeks doing it daily if they are really long) to get them ground down to the appropriate length OR have a groomer/veterinarian cut the nails (which may also take a few times since extremely long nails have the blood vessel going roughly 3/4ths of the length of the nail), then keep the nails the correct length. I walk my dog twice a day, mainly on concrete (around various suburban parks) and her nails still need weekly grinding. IMHO, it is not viable that walking keeps their nails worn down unless they are a working dog who walks all day. Set a schedule and grind their nails once a week and both of your lives will be better. Also, brush their teeth everyday with doggy toothpaste (Vibrac poultry or beef) for their health and your savings. Toothbrushing only takes 15-30 seconds as the goal is to get the toothpaste into their mouth and let the enzymes destroy the plaque. You do not have to brush for 2 minutes like for humans. My dog is 6 years old and has great teeth, no $1,000 dental cleanings and nice breath. Bad breathe generally means dental problems. Brush daily!!

Try it!
I have a very stubborn, anxious dog. Sheâs generally very loving and trusting, but if something truly spooks her, sheâs going to put up a fight. Unfortunately, that applied to nail clippers.1. I had my niece hold her while I attempted to clip, but she thrashed around, yanked her paws away, and would not let us continue. She was extremely anxious, and I could tell she was doing everything in her power to not snap at us. She was panting, drooling, trembling â all signs of a very anxious and panicked dog. Once I realized how distressed she was, we stopped. Iâll admit I was also very nervous about cutting into the quick and hurting her, so I wouldnât be surprised if she picked up on that energy and thought, âOh, YOUâRE not even confident about this? Nope!â2. I considered going to a groomer or vet. I called around and described how my dog had behaved. The groomer informed us that we could take her in, but that she would be turned away if she made too much of a fuss. The vet said they would have to sedate, if she was difficult, which would cost a pretty penny. By this point, I was stressed.3. Desperate, I decided to give this product a try. I was certain it would be a failure. I suspected the noise and vibration would instantly frighten her and trigger another anxiety attack. But for the price point, I figured I didnât have much to lose. I could always give it to a friend or family member, if my dog refused. So glad I gave it a try. So, so glad. For starters, I didnât feel nervous whle operating it. It has a protective cap on the top that makes it virtually impossible to make mistakes and hurt a dog. And once I saw that cap, I felt very confident and calm, and I like to think my dog picked up on that, because she didnât immediately freak out like she had with the clippers. It also has a flashlight, to help you see the dogâs quick as you trim. That added to my confidence. Now, Iâll admit she was a little apprehensive about the sound it makes. But it never outright frightened her. She seemed curious and cautious, more than anything.I tried to trim while she was in a sitting position. Didnât work. She would pull her arm away and try to move elsewhere. Calmly, I had her roll onto her back. She loves belly rubs, so I thought it might be smart to implement that into the process. That made all the difference. I began trimming her nails, one by one. Anytime she pulled her paw away and became impatient/frustrated, I would rub her belly and the top of her head, which would immediately calm her down, and then go back to work. I did this like clockwork. She yanked her paw, I rubbed, she calmed down, I trimmed. She was definitely nervous about the feeling of the vibration as it trimmed her nails, but I eventually got a good grip on each toe while I worked, which minimized the sensation and made her feel a lot more secure. My advice? Donât be afraid to experiment, and don’t give up at the first sign of resistance. Again, that protective cap and flashlight will do wonders for your (and your dogâs) confidence, and you really can’t hurt your dog, if you pay attention to where the quick is as you go. Also, be sure to stop grinding after several seconds, as the device does get hot quite quickly if you continue for too long. I typically trim for four seconds, pull it away for two, and then repeat the process.Oh, and give your dog a treat immediately after. You want your dog to associate the process with a reward they can look forward to. Every time I finish trimming my dogâs nails, she immediately races to the hallway closet where I keep her treats.I never thought my dog would eventually let me trim her nails with very little fuss, but here we are. All thanks to this product. Iâm super grateful. If your dog has extremely long nails, I advise being patient. You want to trim just a little at a time. Trim, give it about a week for the quick to recede, and trim again. Repeat that process until, eventually, each nail is at a respectable length. It might take a month or two, but itâs better to take it slow and ensure your dog continues to trust the device.

Love it!
Love this nail grinder! The guard is definitely for smaller dog nails. I took it off as I have a German shepherd and Rottweiler Gordon mix with very thick nails that wouldn’t fit in the guard. But with removing the guard, it’s powerful and glided through the nail no problem and quickly. The light is a great and helpful feature and it’s quiet! Made nail trimming much easier and enjoyable for all. The only thing I wish it came with was a small brush to get the dust off when you are done (without the guard the dust ends up everywhere). Very satisfied with this item and will be throwing all my other nail grooming tools away.

Worth the investment thus far
Mannnnnnnn where do I start and how do I keep my review short? We bought this because we were tired of taking our two dogs to the groomers just for nail services; theyâre short haired and professional groomer services are unnecessary. Since purchasing this tool, weâre able to trim/grind their nails with ease. The tool is quiet and does not seem to bother them. There are two sides to use which is nice because I have a big and a small dog; I use different sides to accommodate their nail size. LOVE the fact there is a nail guard and a LIGHT so we can see the nail quick. My personal complaint is the dust which is to be expected so I will not deduct stars for this. Overall, I think the tools is super easy to use, fast, and efficient. I would recommend!

I read the mixed reviews on this product, but thought I’d give them a go as they were reasonably priced. I have a 4 year old boxer whose nails grow ridiculously quick (they’re also very tough). I also have an older dog with mobility issues, whose nails aren’t getting worn down on walks because he can’t manage them. The product itself is very easy to use and the light come in very handy. It has various ‘edges’ to achieve your desired finish. It’s also quite quiet, which makes it less intimidating for the dogs. Both the dogs are fine with it, despite the boxer being initially apprehensive, and manicure time is pretty easy going in this house now.Only down side is it takes longer to charge than what the description states. However, I find if you charge it at the end of each use, it holds well so its ready to go when you need it. Would have been nice if it came with a little pouch to keep it in but thats me being very picky.
