awesome pet nail grinder!
i bought this product so i could safely grind down my pet’s black nails, and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality!
the grinder is so much quieter than my old dremel tool. i spent a few sessions getting my dog accustomed to the sound, and he really wasn’t bothered by it! not that he enjoys getting his nails trimmed lol, we are still working on the actual grinding part – he’ll tolerate it for short bursts, but it seems to take a while to get the nails to actually grind down. but maybe im not applying enough pressure to get the nails to grind quickly. i think there’s a bit of a learning curve on both our parts.
overall i am extremely satisfied with the purchase though! product works great, is very quiet, and the dust cover is essential very glad it was included!! it really does trap all the dust so it doesn’t fly around in mine or my dog’s face. would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for a pet nail trimmer. just please put in the time to train your dog to get them used to the tool before you jump in 🙂

Almost Perfect
This sure makes it easier to keep my old puppyâs nails short (10-year old, 80 lbs. Lab). They grow so fast in his old age they are hard to keep up with, and it is expensive to keep taking him to the groomer. Not to mention, he is not fond of me touching his paws. With this, I grind a little bit each week and I have been able to desensitize him and keep his nails short enough that he is no longer sliding on our hardwood floors, and his toes are not bending in funny directions.
This grinder charges quickly and is pretty quiet. The two speeds help to find a setting that will keep your pet comfortable. The removable guide allows for safe grinding of different size nails without fear of grinding too far. A second bit is included – but it is not clear how to order additional bits.
I took away two stars because the bit constantly pops out in the middle of use. It doesnât seem to matter how I use it, with or without the guide, high speed or low, the bit pops off at will.
This machine serves itâs purpose for me, but Iâm not certain about recommending it unless the bit security is corrected.

Game changer
Trimming our dalmatian’s nails the old fashioned way was an absolute nightmare. We tried everything (treats, peanut butter, etc) and the only success we had was my 6’4″ boyfriend holding him down while I clipped away. He would bark and kick and go bananas every time and it made is feel awful (not to mention it was exhausting). As a last ditch effort, we decided to give this product a try and OMG… GAME CHANGER. It is very quiet and didn’t scare him at all. We sat him down (no holding required) and on our first try he just sat there patiently, letting us file down each nail. No barking, no struggle. Just peace! He even sniffed the trimmer as we went and didn’t seem bothered by it at all. Half of his nails are black and half are white. Traditional trimmers made it hard to see his quick but the light on this made trimming less stressful and no hurt paws! We also got a much smoother finish to his nails with no sharp edges.

Quickly files nails down.
Worked well on my rescue doggo who has a massive fear of anything touching his feet. My son did have to hold him while I did his nails but it only took a couple seconds to file down for each nail and also has a light that shows where the quick is in the nail as your filing. And itâs quiet too so not so scary.

First time cat mom things
As a first time cat mom and doing cat mom things while the wife’s away, I had to do something about this girls nails! Her female cats nails started to become sharp and she was due for a cut, but I was too nervous to cut them off and patiently hurt her, so I got this instead and it was better than nothing in my book. It does the job and yes she fidgets but I’m willing to put in the time, but it got 4 out of 5 because of how loud it is. It claims it quiet but even the low setting is pretty loud…
