So much fun and realistic in movement.
These are amazingly realistic in terms of their movement patterns and look just like the way a giant waterbug would scurry around. The cats were intrigued, as were the cats and the adults. One of the kids built a box city with ramps and openings and put it in and watched it scurry all over the place. The do eventually run down and are a bit expensive for what they are, but they are tons of fun.We hope beyond hope that they will consider making these more realistic in appearance, even if they only simply make them brown. They sell toy rubber water bugs online and if they could combine that appearance with these, these would be a prankster’s dream come true. In fact, we’re probably going to order another set, paint them brown, and let them loose for some fun. The movement is realistic and tons of fun for kitties, kids and adults alike.

Cat Liked Them – Dog Loved Even More
All the animals in my house loved these. Though I got them for my cats, my golden retriever went nuts. I was concerned about her picking one up and swallowing it, but she just seemed to want to roll all over it and play keep-away from the cats, lol. I wouldn’t recommend it as a dog toy as these are tiny – it was just a funny event. As for the cats, they like observing and stalking these bugs. When they bat at them, they can typically get themselves back upright and keep going. They will get under furniture though, so you may want to block any hard to reach places.

Cats love these
This is a set of two battery powered vibrating bug toys for cats, from YDLAMZ. I have a big name brand version of this and my cats are crazy about it, so I knew they’d love these and I figured it would be nice to have a few more for them to play with. They arrived and although a little smaller than the name brand one we have, they are exactly the same concept. The red one worked great right out of the box, but unfortunately the green one will not power on. I’m hoping it’s just a battery issue, but I’m a bit peeved that I have to buy batteries for a brand new toy (and also that I don’t really know for sure that the problem is the batteries). Regardless, my cats are crazy about these, even when they’re not turned on, but it’s better when they’re turned on because the cats hear the buzzing and get excited. These are great toys and I really hope I can get the green one to work too.

Poodle loved them
These didn’t last long. They died fast. My toy poodle was way more interested than my cats. She loved them! I subtracted 2 stars bc they died. They are small and can easily get lost. Not for us.

Fun cat toy – kitty approves
I had some of these years and years ago as part of a board game (I think they were called hex bugs or something like that) and always thought they were kinda cool and clever little robots. Never thought of using them as cat toys though.Our cat doesn’t go batty for them like the listing videos, but she stares at them for 7-8 minutes as they dance and skitter around, then she’ll pounce on it and wander away. Then again, that’s pretty much the kind of cat she is.They come with (non-rechargeable) batteries and are ready to go right out of the package. A bit noisy, but not too loud while in use… 5*

Cats go crazy. Just make sure you keep an eye on it.
My cats absolutely love this. I throw it under a piece of newspaper and watch them attack it for hours.Sometimes I throw it in a cardboard box, just so it doesn’t travel underneath a hard to reach place. You’ll know, because your cats won’t move for the next 12 hours, until you grab it and shut it off.

Unexpected fun for cats
I can’t always tell which toys my cats will love, and I wasn’t sure they’d like these. They LOVED them. Even when the bugs aren’t turned on, my cats like to bat them around the floor. When they are turned on, my cats have fun watching them, batting them around, and picking them up in their paws. It’s super cute.
