Made from real wood . Seems sturdy
I thought the color I was getting was white, but it was actually really light unfinished wood. It actually worked out because I was able to stain it a color that matches my space better anyways. It is made of real wood and seems like it will hold up, though the steps might need some reinforcements for a heavier cat. Also, I thought it had carpet like other cat products usually have, but its just a VERY thin felt . Over all it will serve its purpose and it gives me the opportunity to get crafty and customize it to suite my space.

Very study if you get the screws in correctly
I bought this originally for my 2 year old rescue kitty because she seemed interested in maybe looking out the bathroom window which is above our bathtub. After I put it up, she got up there one time and I think she was afraid of the height. I guess she mostly hid under things when she was caught as a feral and higher window perches just aren’t her thing. I adopted a second cat that is a kitten and she has claimed it as hers now. It is sturdy, but the side steps are put together with screws – – you really have to work to get those screws in tight so that there will be no play where they attach. I reinforced it with strong glue. I do not recommend this for a really big cat, unless they use it for a temporary perch for bird watching or something. It is certainly sturdy, like I said, but not a lot of room to sleep on. It comes with a very nice cushion and cover, but I don’t use the one that came with it. I gave it 5 stars because my cat loves it.

The product came in the mail rather quickly and was easy to assemble. âï¸ðð¦Iâm not sure if itâs the location or bedding but my cat doesnât like it BUT I do! Maybe she needs some time. ðââ¬Of note, the hardware is not the best but itâs not the worst. I did use different wall anchors. Overall, I would recommend this product for cats who like to climb.

Assembly could be better
The rail comes preinstalled, which prevents you from easily screwing in the top screws. Getting accurate placement for all the wall anchors is tricky because a pencil did not fit through the holes. So I had to drill screws into the wall with a level on the shelf and then remove them, make pilot holes, then reattach. This isnât in the instructions. The anchors for hollow wall broke when I was trying to insert them, so I used an alternative.The pre-attached rail with dowels is leaning at an angle and the felt isnât that âexquisiteâ.However, I do think it will serve its purpose and allow my kitties a place to perch. I am hoping to add more to this area of the wall.

Great Quality!
I am ordering a 2nd set so I have more steps to work with plus an additional bed. The bed is smaller than the pics in the ad make it appear, so be sure to pay attention to the measurements. This is Lucky, he’s 10-pounds to give you perspective. I like the black with the dark grey/blue mat, but more importantly, my 3 cats LOVE the mat! It all goes well with my modern living room. Oh, and it’s super easy to put together, just look for a stud in your wall for at least the one side of the bed brackets. I am pleased with the quality for $40. Overall: happy with my purchase(s)!

Not worth the money
The steps are tiny and my cat is afraid to use them. The carpet feature is too soft and doesnât have enough roughness for her claws to grip the surface. The anchors that it comes with are not very sturdy, and I ended up buying new ones from a hardware store. Not to mention that it was very tedious to put together. Very unhappy with this purchase.

My Cats love it
This is great. My cats love to be on it. Gives them a view from higher ground. I do suggest using wood screws and srewing it on the wood beams instead. I had a little trouble finding a good spot so i bought a beam finder. This made it stronger and sturdier, it was not gripping well with the one it came with. My baby (cat) is a big13lbs Ragdoll and he fits in it just fine. I have three and they all love it. Now i wish the steps would have been made of a stronger wood, a bit wider and a better support as for as where the boards are screwed together. Good for the bucks tho.

Poor quality but workable.
Very cheep quality. It looks ok but the build quality and hardware is bottom tier and the design of how it mounts does not support a sturdy fixture to the wall. The main landing is sturdy enough but could use some reinforcement for larger cats and the steps are pretty flimsy only being supported by the two small screws they provide. It is a usable product but you need to replace all the hardware they sent with better stuff (the hardware on the right is what they sent and on the left is what I used.) replacing that made a huge difference. If you have a large cat it still may require brackets to reinforce it. Also the railing on the main platform was very loose when I got it and I was able to pull it off with almost no effort and I had re-glue it back in place. The long and short of it is you need to be able to diy a little to make it worth anything and if you have the tools you could probably make a better version pretty easily.
