Sturdy, well made, Almost Escape Proof
I love this harness, and so does my cat. My cat has never escaped from it; however, cats are magical escape artists who can use their Houdini skills to get out of anything. Still, I can say that I haven’t had this problem with this harness. It took me about two weeks to get my feral rescue turned indoor cat used to the harness. I did this inside the house and in enclosures where she couldn’t escape, just in case. We ventured outside once she got used to it, and she loved it. I don’t leave her alone one bit, because of course she’s a cat!! Nevertheless, this harness/ vest works wonderfully, and I feel she is safely secure to go outside for a stroll without me stressing about a potential escape. Also, the pink color looks super cute!!

Good quality product but sizing is off.
This is a good quality made product that fits true to size except for the straps that buckle where the leash attaches. It is too tight and can’t be loosened enough. I tried the one size larger on my smaller cat and the straps fit better but it’s overall too large for her.

Bought this for our cat. Got a pink one for her. Originally ordered a small (she is 9lbs) that was delivered the next day, but it was to small. So I did proper measurements and according to the page, I should have ordered a medium. Totally my fault. The company made it extremely easy to return. So easy that the day I received my first one, I ordered the proper one and received it the next day. It fit perfect so measure first! We use this daily cause our cat loves coming outside when I garden. She walks around the yard and plays but it does give me the piece of mind that she isn’t climbing a tree or jumping the fence. We haven’t used the leash much cause she does great without it. We have since got another cat so will be ordering one for him too and I recommended this to my mom for her cat. It did take our cat a few time of wearing it to get use to it. She would walk backwards or just lay down but now she steps right into it cause she knows she going to play outside. Great product and company would recommend to anyone with a small dog or cat.

My cat loves this after working with her about a week! The velcro makes it much easier to get on. This isn’t escape-proof! Even with it snug my cat has backed out of the harness if the leash is pulled from her front, so I’d never trust it completely and never leave her alone even for a minute. It doesn’t have a handle, but it is sturdy enough to grab and pick up your cat one-handed in a hurry. I got the medium and it’s working great for my 7-month old, 8 pound cat, and she has room to grow into it. Probably too big though for a younger/smaller cat. The velcro can overlap and the straps are very adjustable.Here’s how I get the harness on my cat: I squat down onto my knees, I put harness open on floor in front of me, I put my cat between my legs with my feet together so she backs into my feet and is trapped, then I pick up both of her legs and pull them thru the 2 harness leg holes, close the velcro (should be snug; can overlap it), and close the push buckle. I worked slowly with my cat each day, and learned I could give her a little pat on her tail to encourage her to move forward on her own. After a week she was exploring on her own, but I’m always ready for her to bolt if she hears a new noise, etc. Now she knows the harness means we’re going out to walk in the woods, (safely) stalk the critters, and (partially) climb trees. This is my first in-door only cat and it’s really been wonderful for us and the wildlife. Be patient and it really is great fun.

Fits well, our cats can still back out of it, however, it takes effort which gives you time to stop it.
