Nice harness but goes over the head
This is a nice harness and fits my big 14-lb tabby cat pretty well. Heâs about 18â or a little less around the chest and 9-10â at the neck and the Small fits him comfortably, maybe a little loose. I am worried about whether it might be a little too loose even at the tightest setting for his neck because itâs almost as small as it goes but he was able to get one leg through the neck and end up with the neck cinched around his poor chest. Iâm giving this four starts instead of five for that, plus the fact that the harness does not have a clip for the neck piece. Instead I have to put it over his head and he HAAAAAATES that. He gets so upset when I put it over his head that he sits and sulks. I think anybody who knows cats is probably not surprised by the levels of âdrama queenâ they can attrain.His old harness clipped around his neck like a collar and he was fine with that and fine with collars.So Iâve ordered a different harness that clips around the neck and chest, to appease my sulky boy.
