Easier than most harnesses
When I saw the ad for this cat harness I was immediately intrigued because you only had to put two paws through this harness instead of the traditional four paws. I was wondering what they were using for their “magic tape” to keep it closed. When I got it I discovered it was simply good old velcro that they used. As cheesy as it sounds, the velcro is actually a great idea plus they have a nice clip as a backup incase the velcro comes loose. The harness is very light, and it has a very nice feel to it. The part that you hook together goes on the back of your cat because they have two ringlets on the second closure that you hook the leash to. The edging all around the harness is done very nicely and doesn’t feel scratchy at all. Although the two reflective strips on the sides of the collar part do have a bit of scratchy feel to them. After you put the front paws through the two openings, you then velcro it together on the back of your cat. The Velcro has a nice amount of length for you to use as much or as little as you need. The second closure has a button that you press when you want to take it off, and then pull it out on the other side. To hook it up you just slide the two pieces back together and then you will hear a snap. You can adjust this part of the harness but I’m not sure that it will stay. The black part that you just snapped can slide down the material that it is attached to. I think this is meant to secure the velcro in place. The leash is very long, almost too long for a cat. However, I must say that the material is also very soft. The material that they have used is very good and they did a great job of stitching it. I like that they added a little bit of padding in the loop where you hold on to the leash, along with that they gave you extra space in the loophole for larger hands and arms. The clip that was used on the leash is good but I wouldn’t say great. The sturdiness is there but I don’t know if it won’t wear out if used a lot. The clasp that you pull back was a little stiff but did retract. I also noticed that it was difficult to get it to clip onto the two ringlets because there almost wasn’t enough space inside the clasp for how far apart the two ringlets were. I do feel confident that it will hold onto the harness. Overall I really like the harness and would recommend it.

Excellent comfortable cat harness
I’ve tried several different cat harnesses and this is probably the best. It’s easy to put on, as it only requires you to put the front paws through the straps, similar to small dog harnesses, but it’s secure and your cat won’t be able to wriggle out of it. The material is soft and breathable but very durable. Once enclosed with both velcro and a clasp you have a pair of D-rings to hook your leash onto, keeping the leash securely attached above the shoulders. This works really well, I’m impressed. Recommended.

Not quite as I’d hoped
I’ve been taking cats to visit our local nursing home for a few years now. The residents really enjoy it, and our cats have loved the attention and new people to purr to. I do need to have the feline visitors harnessed though. This spring, I’m training our youngest to walk on a harness, in the hopes to be able to have her be the newest therapy cat. I needed a harness and this looked great! This is the typical chest harness that secures around the body before w s after the front paws. It secures with Velcro and has an attached leash. I ordered this in small, and my cat is nine pounds. This is not very adjustable. While it worked for my one cat, I’d hoped I could utilize it for another smallish cat, but the Velcro wouldn’t stay closed. In general, I never felt that my cat was very secure in it.3.5. May work better for your cat, but test it in your home environment before trying your cat on it outside.

Very Impressed with the Quality
I ordered this harness for my 6 month old tuxedo kitty, Pip. Heâs a house cat; but wants to follow his older “stepsister,” Squeak, outside from time to time. Right now heâs long and skinny, so I ordered the “small” size hoping it would fit. The size graph on the product page is wrong, which is why I gave a 4 star rating rather than a 5. They repeatedly advise you to MEASURE your pet; but the three sizes (XS, S, and Medium) all have the same chest measurement; so you are pretty much on your own deciding which size to order. Lucky for me the small is just a tad loose on Pip, so he should be able to grow into it. He was able to wriggle out of it right now, so the true test will have to wait until heâs a little bigger.I had no trouble putting it on him, just put his two front legs in the holes and pulled the sides up across his back and used the Velcro to close it. There is also a buckle-like closure to attach and then two metal rings are closed with the leash hardware. With all that, I believe it will be quite secure. Unfortunately he can wriggle out of it right now, so all the buckles, Velcro, and hooks canât contain him. Not quite âescape proofâ yet. Once it fits more snugly, I think it will work just fine. Iâm letting him wear it around the house for about 30 minutes a day, so he can get used to it. He hasnât put up a fuss, so Iâm assuming it is comfortable for him to wear. For the price, I was quite impressed with the quality of the material and the stitching.Hopefully, when the time comes to try it outside he wonât object too much to the leash. Wish me luck!
