Not durable and poor qualityâ¦
My brush stopped working not too long after receiving it. It was good the first use but now itâs broken. When I plug in to charge the light turns on. However when I try to turn it on to use it, itâs completely off.

An alternative to bathing
I originally ordered this as an alternative to bathing my kitty as she’s not a fan of bathing. I thought the steam would help decrease the dander and help my kitty with cleaning herself throughout the day. However, it doesn’t appear to really be steam, more of a mist is emitted. I did find it somewhat helpful, but my kitty isn’t a fan of it as of yet. I’ll keep trying because I think it would be good for her skin. All in all, it is cheaply made so I’m not sure how long it will last.

I have 8 kitties, all with different fur lengths, Angelica in the picture has the longest, thickest fur. I gave this four stars because it is a bit misleading thinking you are somehow using steam, which actually worried me. The blue light shows the mist of water at any temp giving it a âsteamâ look. You still can add warm water to groom your pet. All my cats liked it and they also love the water brush that cleans well with a pet wipe in it or without. But I think misting brush is an accurate description and I still had to use a rake comb on Angelica which she enjoys when done gently.

Oh the hairy messes this prevents!
Now if I could just get my cat to love the idea as much as I do- we would be cooking with peanut oil! The dogs quite like it. I imagine it feels quite lovely to them. But the hair this thing immediately captures, in a single pass of the brush, is astonishing! A brilliant invention!

Flimsy
Upon opening I already saw a bent bristle that prevented it from working right. So I tried to bend the bristle back and it just bent more bristles.The steam works just fine but the brush is bad. The whole thing is flimsy and bad.

Effective Pet Brush
I use this on my cats and find it effective for removing loose hair with or without using the steam function and with the push button face plate cleaning off the loose hair is a breeze.It’s easy to grip, maneuver and the buttons I find to be conveniently located. I think it’s well made and offers a lot of features for the price.

Great features, holds onto fur, a bit tricky to fill
This cat brush is very nice, the steam feature really surprised me with how it well it worked, and it is much wider than some other brushes so you can get more fur at once. The UV light does function although Iâm not sure how well it is sterilizing things. One of the best parts of the steam feature is that it keeps all of the fur where it is rather than letting it fly all over the room like some other brushes weâve used. The bristles all have rounded edges so it doesnât wind up scratching your cat aggressively, but theyâre long enough that they get down to the undercoat of all of our cats. The eject button works well too and there is no need to pull the fur off it pushes all of it off in one shot. The only issue I found is that it doesnât come with a funnel or something to help you fill the reservoir so itâs a bit tricky to get the water in the small hole without spilling any.
